I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

I once stayed at a b&b in a little village in North Wales whilst away with work, the owner took me down to the basement to show me the old morgue. Told me it hadn't been used since 1912, then says "if you see any floating people, just ignore them" I was up and out from that place early

That is a very common joke, especially in the funeral business. I heard that one of the first time that I went into the basement of this funeral home. I also have heard that when I went on this tour through the Howe caverns. First things first, the elevator brings you 81 ft below ground level. Part of the caverns was solely carved from hurricanes. There's also a small stream/river in the caverns. That was when the tour guide told us that "if you see any bodies, just ignore them and keep on trail' 😂

My ex's mom is a paralegal at a law firm whose offices are in a former funeral home. The old morgue (where they kept the bodies cold) is now their lunch room where they all eat lunch everyday which is absolutely wild to me.

OMG! This reminds me very much of traveling to small villages in Alaska. We were often working with the local schools, so they'd put us up in a house or sometimes on the floor of the school gym. Sometimes no one even said anything about food (!) so I would carry snacks and energy bars just in case. One time I stayed in the spare bedroom in the principal's house. The next day he accused me of going into his bedroom in the middle of the night. 😯 Worse than ghosts, if you ask me!

My creepiest sleep was in a HUGE Catholic orphanage in Omaha, Nebraska, where super poverty-stricken, desperate parents would put their babies and kids on a train in the hopes they'd have a better life. It was my dad and I across the hall, nobody else on staff was staying there. Very stressful and sad energy. The second creepiest was staying at my college besties mom's house, where their ghost, Daisy, lived. I had heard endless stories. In fairness, she had tried to hide that fact from me. The only real excitement was when a bat got into their house, and I almost peed myself laughing at the antics to get it out.

☠ - I work at a cemetery and we have a funeral home on site. I have assisted the Funeral Director prepare the deceased for their funeral. Now I don't do any of the medical stuff, I assist with painting a ladies nails to look nice or help with makeup and hair and things like that. I believe everyone should look their best as they go into the afterlife. We use a picture that the family gives us of how they want them to look. I love being able to help people through one of the hardest things they will ever go through as I know how it is and I have appreciated those that helped me through that hard time. Now I also believe in the afterlife and the paranormal. I have heard and seen things at work and I saw my Grandma when I was 17 and she had been gone for 2 years. She was waiting on my Pap because the sightings and weird things happening like cold spots, lights turning on by themselves, etc. all stopped when he went to be with her! I believe everyone has the right to have their own beliefs but I know what I have seen, heard and felt. Love your channel!! Love you!!!

The funeral home in my town, dating from when it was a village, got transformed in a duplex when I was a teenager. I am now 42 and live a few houses down from it. It got demolished, 3-4 years ago and they are now building condos in its place. I always found it weird that they had transformed a funeral home into apartments.

Here in New Zealand it's super normal to bring the dead home, casket open. So sleeping in the same room as a dead body I have done so many times. Probably the creepiest but also the most beautiful is staying at the Marae with the body and theres 50+ other people also sleeping in the room (mattresses on the floor). The wharenui (which is the sleeping/meeting room) not only has beautiful carvings and weaving everywhere but also has pictures of all the people that have passed from that iwi (tribe) for generations. The last time I stayed it was my daughters first time sleeping at the marae for a tangi (days of funeral). She was terrified of all the pictures and carvings at night.... add on the old men snoring. Funnily enough sleeping near her dead Nanny didn't bother her. Xx EDIT: Oh actually when I was a teenager my bestfriend was the pastors daughter. We decided to sleep in the church for the night. Think big old anglican church, stained glassed windows huge pipe organ etc anyhow... she got us a movie from the video shop...... BLAIR WITCH!!! What the heck!!!

Wow what a creepy story Molly, reminds me of the old Disney Channel show so weird, I'm sorry you had to go through that. Maybe the person who turned it into a bed-and-breakfast, used to live there and this was all their old furniture and the pictures were their family members or something, or maybe the reason that there's only 500 people living in the town, is because it's a ghost town and they had no more use for a morgue since everyone's dead, so turned it into a bed-and-breakfast, or maybe the reason that there was old food is because they haven't had anyone staying in a long time, honestly it depends what you believe there are so many different things from scary to just creepyeither way sounds like a pretty disturbing experience and I'm glad that you're alright.

A coworker of mine used to work at a morgue. She said she kept seeing the "clients" walk around several times like they were stil alive within the first year she worked there (although she did admit she could have been psyching herself out). Needless to say, she switched careers real quick after that and never looked back. lol You could pay me $1,000 per client and you STILL couldn't get me to work at a morgue, graveyard or funeral home. I like WATCHING haunting kind of videos, but the possibility of dealing with that in REAL LIFE, I could NEVER do that. lol

I spent 2 and a half years growing up in an old funeral home from the 50s. My great aunt's MIL bought it and made 2 apartments in 2nd floor and her hair salon below. Though mostly rennovated, and a bunch of relatives living in that unit prior, even in 90s you could tell what it had been. The laundry room and kitchen had been the morgue and embalming area with big drains on cement or concrete floors. In '95 my great grandma moved in and least the kitchen floor was carpeted over but still had an inward slope over the drain, and everything rennovated but laundry room. My bedroom was where the elevator had been to bring bodies up there and back down, so i put my bed over that spot to rest of floor was even in room. The other apartment my great aunt and her husband lived in, seemed to be where funerals were held...their living room had intricate wood arch to enter near one end, and once inside and facing left was a smaller arch that the caskets must have been behind. I was always terrified if the building and didnt know why as a small kid.
