I’m a first gen immigrant (jamaican) on my dad’s side, a kid to a single mother, as a black person, someone who is poor and an artist (double homicide, I know 💀) I know that working hard is the only way that I’ll be able to live this life and this video is such an inspiration for me and when I do because I will. I will visit Jamaica my homeland first. Thank you so much.

12:46 I'm half-Chinese, born in England, English is my first language, but apparently I look ambiguous enough that generally wherever I go, people try to speak to me in the local language. I live in Australia and sometimes also get the 'ni hao's and 'konnichiha's and it's just... it's really not it.

So sorry to hear you didn’t get good food in Italy😭 It’s literally so good. The first time I was in Rome, I also got disappointing food, but in such huge touristy cities, you gotta either ask nice locals or do your research. The small hidden gems are the best! But also I get that the locals gatekeep the good places bc so many Italian places suffer from overtourism…

omg you're so right about "european culture" which is just being rude and arrogant to foreigners: waiters forgetting about your orders or mixing up things and bringing you something you didn't order, after which you just accept your fate and eat it because you know you're gonna be stuck in this restaurant for 2 more hours if you ask them to replace it. having travelled to a bunch of countries in europe i've just sticked to buying my own groceries, eating yoghurts, fruits etc, it's cheaper and it saves you your mental health. some of the examples of bad customer service is a waitress telling me in a very annoyed tone that you are supposed to order cakes by telling HER because that's why she's there and not going inside the cafe and looking at those cakes that i have no idea how they taste, look, what they are made of etc.

Yeah! Talk about your life. Talk about the cities you traveled to. That's your reality! Embrace it and cherish it when you tell the stories. Also! When you were talking about feeling safe walking alone, i kept thinking about how your a man and wouldnt understand. AND THEN YOU JUMP CUT TO YOU ACKNOWLEDGING YOURE JUST A MAN. Thank you for doing that and speaking up. I do encourage a lot of females to not let fear stop them in life. Learn self defense and be mindful. We should be able to enjoy life freely. Anyways. To all your roses ♥!

it’s so interesting you had bad costumer service in italy cause the south is the most friendly part of europe. i think there’s just been a trend of over tourism in the area that’s leading everyone here to getting tired of tourists regardless of where they’re from. i’m sorry you had a weird experience!

i love you're videos so much but i wish you (and other content creators) actually travelled to south ameica and africa more(africa especially). i feel like it just isn't seen as as aesthetic or as "modern" or "civilised" as these other places that you've gone too(this is just my opinion). but there are so many beautiful and amazing cities that I wish more people could experience like Nairobi, Mombasa, Lagos, Cape Town and Durban (i'm just mentioning african cities because that's where i'm from), which are absolutely amazing in summer(around October-January). so hopefully next time you travel you'll make a few stops in south america and africa, because you definitely have viewers from there.

@tanzanable6 күн бұрын
Please don't take offense when people in other countries address you in Japanese. They're not being racists. Their experience is that tourists who look Japanese in that area probably don't speak English or the local language. They're just trying to be friendly.
@dustinvuong5 күн бұрын
friendly or not it’s still ignorant to automatically assume that especially in places such as France where there are large communities of asians living there
@tanzanable5 күн бұрын
@dustinvuong Don't assume negative things about others unless you know their true intent.

Are u even Asian?? If not you’re not supposed to tell him how he should feel or behave when he faces racism and full ignorance from people who assume things by what they see
@tanzanable4 күн бұрын
@@fairywilly I will not confirm nor deny my Asian heritage. It means nothing with regard to playing the victim of racism. When a stranger says hello to you in a language they assume is yours, that is usually nothing more than an attempt to be friendly. To assume it's racist without knowing the intent of the speaker is not right.
@fairywilly4 күн бұрын
@@tanzanable stop infantilize these people and their ignorance they know what they’re doing they’re not being friendly this is straight up ignorance and racism and I think u should respect and not invalidate the way other poc react to these kind of interactions. He’s not exaggerating anything he’s right to feel and react that way
