Keep in mind Andy put north of 20,000 miles on his RS. A lot of fun trips to the Smokies with a few track events thrown in. It wasn’t a cars and coffee car. So he probably extracted the equivalent of 6 years out of his car in comparison to a lot of owners.

So now that you have had the 600 for 2 yrs, do you regret selling the 3rs? I currently have a 991.2 gt3 and use it mainly for road rally’s and am heavily considering getting a 600LT. Based on your experience, would you do it again??
@RSXperience7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. Your waitron has a few components to it. First, I admit the 600LT was the best car I’ve ever driven. Period. It handles amazingly well. Turn in is way better than 3RS and power is intoxicating. The steering is slightly better than Porsche. Brakes fantastic. The visceral driving experience top notch. Now the other component. I love an an area not near a dealer (closest 5 hrs away). That was an issue for me. There are solutions where mechanics will travel to your home and that has to be weighed against cost of shilling the car to a dealer (non warranty work). The occasional gremlins (mainly electronics) didn’t strand me but annoyed me. It was more expensive to maintain so go in with eyes open. The net. Best drivers car and worth experiencing even if for a year. You won’t regret it. It’s an exotic through and through. Carbon tub, the doors the sounds. Special every time you drive it. Never tracked it though. The Porsche is nearly indestructible, reliable and was easy to service with local dealer. Yes. I would do again. Good luck and keep me posted on your journey.

Why would you get rid of a car that's appreciating, extremely desirable and that can track like no other? Was it the ride? Moving away from the track? Porsches are tough. The GT cars look very similiar. Your 4 are all about style. Is that why you sold the GT..More style? Thanks.
@RSXperience2 жыл бұрын
True that they are appreciating in this market. What isn’t? And while happy with the value for what I sold it for, it wasn’t something I was chasing. Fact is, I get bored easily. Even if it is/was the best car I’ve ever owned. I don’t track as much anymore due to RS Xperience and mountain driving; equally as fun. You raise a good point about style and that factored in my decision. As was there are so many cars out there I would like to experience. I’m sure I’ll be back in a Porsche at some point. They are a driver’s car and built solid (well, there have been some issues on the 992 GT3). The time was right to experience something different and fun!! I look forward to the journey.

@@RSXperience I completely understand. I'm very similar. I have a C8 that I am enjoying immensely. My first job out of HS was at a Porsche dealer in San Diego. I went to a driving school in early December. It was great but made me realize I am a spirited driver at best. Probably saved me hundreds of thousands. Lol. Looking forward to the next car. I'm predicting one of the McClarens. They look like fun. Try a C8 sometime. The rear engine is really fun and it moves.

I would love to drive the C8 one day. The Z06 sounds insane. Pricing is high everywhere.

Nothing but respect but I wouldn't of traded the Porsche for any of those mentioned cars or any other car for that matter. 🤔

The RS is an amazing car. On track it is flawless. In mountain driving you really can’t extract everything out of the car (downforce for example), and it is wide. It’s an instrument and toy. Had fun with it 21,500 miles which is more than many RS owners. Got my money’s worth. Time to experience something new.

Still liking that M2CS? Saw one just like yours sell on BaT yesterday or the day before. Everybody has their reasons for doing things so I'm not going to harp on you for selling the GT3RS. I'll just say that was a sweet car and leave it at that. Good luck with the new one whatever it may be.

Thank you Mike. Yes, I enjoy the CS quite a bit. It’s power and surprisingly compliant ride. Whenever I go from the RS to the CS I feel like I’m in a luxury car. 😂. Still getting used to the brakes though. Way over boosted. Very touchy. I feel like I could go from 70mph to 0 in 100’ or less.

@@Hapkin Well the 600LT is a track demon. I'd be using my car for track days, limited road use and tarmac rallies. So i'd go for the GT4RS with Porsche Motorsport Division options (incl: full cage etc), aftermarket exhaust & Deman 4.5l upgrade to build a GT3-killer
