Great video, and yes, my M2 CS has the same issue with the Apple CarPlay.

I concur with your comments as I also own a M2 CS . You do set a very high bar comparing it to your 600LT and (previous) RS. After all, this is a RWD sports sedan with back seats and a good size trunk. Perhaps comparison to a similar Audi/Merc would have been more appropriate. As well, the CS is a keeper for me.

Thanks for watching and I agree my comparisons are a high mark. Compared to my E46 M3, I do like the CS better. I know the love of the E46 in it styling still resonates, but the performance of the CS prevails.

Great video. Thanks you for posting. I would like to ask you a few more questions about the suspension setup. How did the ride quality change once you had lowered it? Do you week that it rolls a little less? Have you looked into getting thicker anti roll bars?do you thing that would help? What about KW or Bilstein coil overs? I agree with you as to the car feeling “heavy”. That said, I love these things. I owned a 2020 M2C, have a 6MT M2CS with delivery miles only on it and currently am in the process of buying a second M2CS to actually drive. The second one is a DCT and I do plan on modifying the suspension on it, hence the questions.

Thanks for watching. I don’t mind a firm ride and the car is never too harsh for me when driving around town or on highway. I don’t feel the lowering springs affected ride quality. Regarding suspension. It needs work. I am unimpressed with the adaptive dampers. At some point I would consider KW to help get rid of the roll and to better adjust rebound rate. I feel the backend slides around too much for me when driving briskly on the mountain roads.

Congrats on Borge cars. A manual and DCT is a good set up.

Hi just purchased a 2020 BMW M2CS manual transmission. I am trying to find out how delete the rev match so I can do it myself. Have you deleted yours. Trying to find out how to the deleted the rev match. Thanks David Houston Tx
@RSXperienceАй бұрын
Thanks for watching. I had not turned off rev match on the M2 CS. I no longer own the car. However, there seems to be solutions available for this. I had heard disabling some of the ESC or TC will turn off rev match, although I’d be careful if that. There is another option I found here is your handy with this sort of thing: f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1848062 Happy searching.

How'd you do tire rotation? Are you not staggered?
@RSXperience8 ай бұрын
Can swap front side to side and rears side to side.
@USMC_LAterZ8 ай бұрын
@@RSXperience Yes! No shops will entertain that in my area now a days. I remember the old way of doing tire rotations. Front right tires are taken off and goes to rear left, etc. Loved your video, subbed.

One more question, with your exhaust set up, you theoretically were supposed to pick up somewhere around 20 to 25 hp. Do you actually feel it? Also, is there any drone at highway speeds? If so, how bad is the drone?
@RSXperience2 жыл бұрын
I have not placed on a dyno therefore I can’t speak to actual gains. Can I feel it in the seat of my pants? I would have to say no. What we usually would feel is torque and that seems the same. On the Highway there is some drone when cruising at 3000 rpm. Not horrible. Remember I drove a GT3 RS for three years so my noise tolerance may be higher than most. If I were to do the mid pip again I would get resonated version though.

M2 CS owner here with 11,000km on. Mine is DCT, steel brakes, and M Performance HAS. No regrets at all. Will keep mine forever especially after seeing the new M2, which is ugly as F@%k!
@RSXperience2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I am happy to hear you are enjoying your M2 CS. It is a great all round car. For spirited driving or just cruising. With the HAS I bet it has a nice stance too. I agree. The new M2 is not that appealing. Looks like a bunch of bolt ons for the exterior. Like putting an aero kit on a Camry. The CF seats though look great. Not a fan of the crotch notch, but the test looks good. They gave it a nice bump in power too for base M2.
@WTF_8882 жыл бұрын
@@RSXperience Yes the new M2 does have a significant power bump compared to the F87 base M2. It has even more power than our M2 CS. However, it is now heavier and bigger. I do agree with many car journalists that our M2 CS is truly the last greatest M car.
