To be fair, going by Brett's track record on things like Shadow of War, and him running into bugs few others seemed to in Superliminal ("The door that I lost is very possibly inside the door that I lost" is just one example), I think Brett is just unusually (un)lucky to run into more and different bugs than other people.

*FUN FACT* if you break out of bounds during silver fight and then let him toss you to the air, you will in fact go to space granted it is a black infinite void beyond the skybox texture but that's close enough

It just dawned on me: they don’t care who you choose in the “Trial of Love”, they discourage you from choosing Amy, they pretty much call you dumb when you choose her and then they still have that weird “We Lay Like Lovers”-ending, that’s just so wrong on so many levels, cuz even if they are technically the same age and they were the same species, they’re still kids. They’re literal children, all of them. They could’ve dropped the whole “literally useless damsel in distress that x an anthropomorphic animal that can speak and wears sneakers”-shite and kept it all as “she’s a kid that needs to be saved, they’re kids and heroes and they’ll save her and her entire kingdom, cuz that’s what heroes do!”. Not this weird romance thing that makes no sense, especially since we never see her again, but they set it up like she’s his literal destiny or something. It’s weird and gross and icky, and I cannot fathom what went through the game designers and story writers heads?! At least, they could’ve made them all anthropomorphic animals, but no, had to have Sonic x OC human character, who has about as much self preservation as Bella from Twilight but somehow also manages to be a nuclear bomb that’s activated by sadness, which apparently she has never felt, except when a guy she has known for less than a week seemingly dies. Nothing else has made her as upset as that moment. Not losing her father, not having to rule a whole country when she should be in middle school, not the destruction of said kingdom. None of it. Only Sonic. I she should be a 2D platformer with the level of depth her character has, and yet she’s also the one with the most over-the-top, complicated origin story, and still, only Sonic is important. Bad writing. Plain and simple.

Would’ve been cool if Blaze the cat stood in place for Eloise, like she had some power that only awakes in the future and the world is destroyed, so she sends Silver to go and find the younger her and save the future (while thinking that sonic is somehow the bad guy) and because they save the future, that future blaze disappears, and doesn’t remember silver
