the comments here are so discouraging but I’m glad you did this video, it was cool to hear their perspectives. and I’m so glad that lady mentioned the housing things bc it’s one of the most pertinent issues.

Personal opinion. Everything exists everywhere..beleive it or not, then why society is so hard headed about such matters. Let people love whoever they want, be single, be married, be with divorced, be with their chosen partner. Its no one's business to decide for anyone else. Only thing that matters if all of us are on this Earth then no one is abnormal... we are here for a reason and not by mistake

Thanks to Saffon for this fran discussion. But I wonder why she uses the derogatory word " queer" & not GAY ? Discrimination is now enshrined in the Constitution. However, as more & more allies support Gay marriage, I am optimistic that we will gain equal rights in the near future 😊😊

I see a trend that young people complain nowadays.. They always complain that houses are expensive. But why couldn't they get a smaller flat? And this applies to both heterosexuals and homosexuals. For the former, they kept on saying that houses are 500-600k to start off with, and like to reference to the million dollar HDB. But that's just bs. They can easily get a 3 room flat in non mature estate. And that's only around 300k at most. They don't have to always use the housing as an accuse to delay marriage or to start a family. Personally, I got a 3 room bto and I'm happy with my decision with no debt at all. As for the homosexuals or queers, they don't necessarily need to get a resale or condo right? I know it's pretty expensive right now. Why not just wait for 35 to get a 2 room? That's the only cheaper option in the long run. Both partners can get two bto if they want and rent one out. So it's not impossible to live a good life together but a matter of adjusting expectations knowning that govt is adopting a pragmatic approach in dealing with the limited housings it can build to accommodate the growing population. So naturally, priority goes to those who will be married and are expected to raise a family. Perhaps something that ought to be done to our housing policy is to allow the singles and queer population to bto for 2 rooms earlier in their life rather than forcing them to wait until 35, and maybe put a MOP of 20 or 25 years to prevent people from abusing the system to flip for profit. This way, the queers can start their couple life early and not to worry about paying for exorbitant price for alternative housing solution. No hate on the queer, I'm cool if my own daughter is a lesbian and I will give the same advice to her too when it comes to housing. Wait till you are 35 or ask your partner to live together with us parents.

Satan, also called the adversary or the devil, is the enemy of all righteousness and of those who seek to follow God. he and his followers try to lead us away from righteousness. he has many schemes to mislead and turn man from God. satan attempts to undermine us by confusing gender, promoting sexual relations outside of marriage, ridiculing marriage, and discouraging childbearing by married adults who would otherwise raise children in righteousness. The Bible condemns any form of sexual act that is considered “worthless” in God's eyes. homosexuality, beastiality, fornication, and adultery. they say it’s all love and everything, but really there is no true love, they are just looking for lust. God made man & woman as a perfect couple to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. This was given by God not freely chosen. Going against His image & His design is going against Him. We aren't here to change the word of God the word of God is here to change us, What are the actual "fruits"-the results-of the homosexual lifestyle? Can't naturally have biological kids, Diseases, Suffering, Unfulfillment, Nothingness! homosexual activity leads to a Host of serious transmitted diseases (STDs) HIV, fatal transmitted Infections, and physical health problems, mental health problems, major depression, anxiety, substance abuse and greater risk of suicidal and a greatly shortened lifespan and the suffering list goes on. why are there so many diseases? why such young deaths? It has to do with the sexual practices. It goes against how God created bodies to work. and when you violate God’s design, there are always consequences. Same-sex attraction is always an expression of the fallen nature. But if you repent now, God forgiveness starts the process and His power continues to work in us, when we say yes to Him. But when we fail to listen to God, then problems, affliction and suffering will be the consequence of disobedience. I say this lovingly and to say truth in love is to love one another. Do not value your homosexuality Sin more than you value God. The only hope for the homosexual and all people who break God's laws is to turn to Christ. If we want to walk with Christ we must repent and reject our fleshly desires and deny ourselves. God can save you from that horrible life and community. God promises the strength for Victory over sin, Including homosexuality, to all those who will Believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation.

@@SaffronSharpe You must qualify your meaning of the word "support" here. Support in accepting them for who they want to be or support their cause that its okay to be gay and we should go around and spread this idea and actively convert people to experiment with homosexuality.

@magnusthor6259 Жыл бұрын
@@SaffronSharpe Actually, it is not okay to be gay! But these gay people form a significant part of our society and we need to find a place in society for them to exist. Hence we sort of close an eye and try to accept them for who they chose to be. Basically being tolerant towards them so that they can also be useful members of society. But to say that homosexuality is to be discussed in schools and educate the public that it is okay to be gay and getting homosexuality to be an acceptable social norm, thats a no-no.

@@nicolechan3692 I view gays as character flaw ie negative. Character flaws need not be those harmful to people. Eg a person who is quick to bear grudges has a character flaw but he is not going to harm anyone. A person who cant relate to women has a character flaw but it doesnt mean he is going to be violent towards women.
@quinntessential._Ай бұрын
@@magnusthor6259 Gay people don't inherently have a flaw because they're gay though. Your whole point is that you don't like us because you're not comfortable with people being gay. You say you accept, but then you turn around and say not to "spread" it and talk about it, that we're flawed, that we're not normal. You are not accepting. You are a blatant ignorant person trying to seem "indifferent". Just say you're a homophobe and move on.

I absolutely disagree with this statement ""It is okay to be gay" Please dont do round and tell all your loved ones that. You are just doing them a great disservice. These people are deceiving themselves. Initially parents are not supportive. Eventually with time they are neutral? You hope! They have no choice but to accept it. No choice. The choice for them is to lose their son or daughter totally or accept the situation and hope that somehow something happened that will change the situation. Anyway at your age, you get to say what you want to do with your life. But dont ever tell me that your parents and friends have become neutral. You are just deceiving yourselves. We are asians and conservative. But dont think that every western ideas are superior. If God meant for man and man to be together, he would have create you bisexual where one or both of you can conceive and have kids on your own.

@magnusthor6259 Жыл бұрын
@@pinkcotton94 Yes! Just like you can choose to be a good person or a bad person! But for gay to go straight again is very difficult. Its like a drug addict. You can sort of wean him off drugs but if you just keep putting drugs here , there , everywhere where he has easy access to, he cannot wean off drugs. Homosexuality is a even worse problem than drugs because there is a tremendous emotional connection associated with it. It is best said that if you are not homosexual, dont go find out or experiment with it. Once you get hooked or like the experience, there is almost no way back!
@magnusthor6259 Жыл бұрын
@Jasveer Singh Bal Yup, human beings like to experiment. They even experiment having sex with animals! So what so strange about trying out same sex or all types. It is a choice.
