Sometimes my luck is crazy in this game and other times, it's not. It feels like I have to work for the shines I want but I get shines I don't want/ already have easily. Like that time in my gameplay, I was going to the end game area and got both a shiny luxio and geodude right next to each other. Or that time I got 2 shiny dusclops in the same outbreak just waiting for me without having to catch or battle them. And the only shiny alphas I have is a shiny pachirisu and an alpha Gengar (my first time even getting a shiny of that line)

Does it make a difference to knock out Pokémon instead of catching them during outbreaks? I’ve been trying to get spiriting for the longest now

As long as you either catch or knock out the Pokémon in an outbreak it doesn’t make a difference as long as a new Pokémon spawns. Outbreaks can have 8 to 12 encounters so some will have less than others. Outbreak resetting is a solid way to find specific Pokémon. Keep trying hard and you’ll find a shiny.

Shiny charm is the best way to get a shiny FASTER. Make sure you save as a shiny pops up in this game and moving forward as you’ll always have it spawn
