Love your videos. Always so informative. I have bought a E-Golf based on your review

Great review- very practical advice. One aspect of current 3s & Ys that my wife & passengers dislike alot is no lumbar support- not acceptable in a car that costs that much. Thanks for a very thorough yet succinct review.

Don't have a Tesla, but was surprised how integrated the supercharger network is, guess I shouldn't have been, given it's Elon's baby 😂. This weekend, we used the EVPoint chargers at Uttoxeter Services, which are actually Tesla chargers, but do contactless payment. Always interested in owner reviews, especially long-term ones.

Really enjoy watching your videos Steve. Is it easy to clean the white seats? I'm thinking of getting a new model 3 and love the white seats. The problem is I have 3 young messy kids!
@SteveJulien3 ай бұрын
Thanks! Dead easy to clean them, I’ve only ever used wet wipes. Love the new model 3!

Good idea! Funnily enough I was also thinking about getting this for the kids booster seats too.

I tried a Model Y prior to getting an ID3. Both your reviews I agree with many things you’ve said. It came down to size and driving for me, just preferred the ID3 on both counts. But the Tesla does have a great screen albeit lacking Apple or Android and a good charging network. But I home charge 99% of the time. One question with the accident, I wonder in the Y it would have automatically tried to avoid the collision, I’ve heard of someone saying it can move into another lane to avoid a collision on the motorway. Wonder if it could do from rear collisions?

does the roof rack really hurt range?

It must do a bit, but I didn’t notice any range loss.

Have you gotten a flat yet? Heard those wheels get blown out easily.

Nope. On about 60,000 Tesla miles so far.

I just wish they wernt so dam bland inside! The screen novelty on all vehicles soon wears off. Even Renault are doing some really nice interiors on their newer cars (Megane-E tech, scenic etc)
@Lovejazz013 ай бұрын
They are “ bland” simplistic because of ease manufacturing, and the money goes into the software on the screen, not buttons, leather, interior chrome, wood, and bells and whistles. I don’t miss them, to each their own..
@onilpotris3 ай бұрын
I won’t say the screen is a “novelty”, my experience with it has been great. You get used to it and at least from my point of view will start to prefer it over other cars
@Bbill2k23 ай бұрын
@@onilpotris I don't mean having a large center screen is novel, more the Tesla Easter egg features like rainbow road, games, lotus esprit etc. They were good for marketing in the earlier days I suppose. Other features like video streaming services and sentry mode are great!
