That is so true. Today was my best day yet. I had a plan last night, my setup came to fruition. I took one trade heavy leverage, fixed stop, and made more than i did in the past 3 weeks. Versus taking 20+ trades a day.

Thanks Riley. I shared this with a few buddies... been watching your vids since 2018, I think. I've come to some similiar conclusions. I'm glad to see that there seems to be common patterns among successful traders. I've learned the same things during my experience. So I think you are right on the money-pun intended.🙌

To be honest, while all he says makes perfect sense, it took me a couple of years to realize that it us absolutely correct. Every advise in this video is legit. Obvious, yes, it's not some holy grail, but you'd be shocked how stupid we are when emotions take over in trading and simplest things escape us.

Best way to train your memory is to trade with 5 shares so that you can take serious cause you putting money on the line but not too much that your trading with emotions. Keep doing that for a month or two everyday and you will learn to because a real trader because your learning how the market moves. Up down or sideways and also draw support and resistant lines so when it breaks out your ready to strike. Also very important, you 100% need to know when to get out. Don't get greedy, take that green day and run! Live to trade another day!

What time frame do you use for scalping? How tight are your stop losses?
@bronxp93 Жыл бұрын
2 great time frames to trade is the 1min and the 15min. Make sure macd is green on the 15min and take trade on the 1 min for longs do the opposite for shorts

That's whats good about me having a cash account for 2 yrs at first I needed to wait 2 days for funds to settle with options just 1 day , that's good but also harmful because I've held trades longer than I should've because of that most of the time for a loss , or I took a loss just for trade to continue in the direction I wanted after i sold

Bud, I been trading on and off for like 6 or 7 years now and I still can't stop emotional trading. Why can't I just flick a switch and be disapline finally?
@Boyeaton1 Жыл бұрын
Find someone you have to be accountable to (preferably another trader). Tell them your rules and that you must stick to them. Let them check your account on a weekly or monthly basis to make sure you keep in line. If you don't stick to them then you must pay 100 bucks! How bad do you want it?

So how much to hire you for a week? 😂 I'm def an over trader because I don't have the fear of taking a trade. If market is moving I can make good money but tend to give it right back. I'm getting to the point where idk if I'll ever be profitable because of my lack of discipline. I never had a schedule growing up and it's really hard as an adult to stick to one. I need something simple that I can build on but get so distracted when trying to figure out where to start. I think I might have a touch of a.d.d. unfortunately its not adhd which might help with other activities lol.
@Boyeaton1 Жыл бұрын
Tell yourself that you are only allowed to 3 trades per day forcing you to select the better ones. Stick to the rules for 20 trades and then sit down and reevaluate the rules. Make changes if needed and then start over with the next 20 trades

Bro this was fucking awesome … it’s nothing really groundbreaking , it’s shit anyone could think of or has heard… but the mentor really emphasizes how these basic fundamental things are what make or break you… it’s not about learning how to play some secret EMA crossover … it’s just the basics, your edge & consistency
@RileyColeman Жыл бұрын
People always want to think to be successful you have to do something fancy. But really any success in this world is just hard work and discipline. If you can master that you will be successful at whatever you do.
