I have this figure. She looks great when posed with my Jin Sakai figure from "Ghost of Tsushima". Their heights/scale are comparable.

I have been dreaming up a TMNT 90s movie style Karai for a while now. I did a very basic mock up using an Ollie’s GI Joe Baroness with some NECA TMNT accessories but it’s not exactly satisfactory. This would be a much better fit for a base, kinda would match Tatsu with those soft goods.

How's her articulation as far as looking up goes? I couldn't really tell. I definitely agree about the head sculpt looking out of place. Those legs, while functional under the clothing, also look kinda odd. Thanks for reviewing that. I'm still on the fence but it does seem like an overall quality piece.

The soft goods are impressive, makes me wish we had more figures with the samurai aesthetic. The face definitely looks weird, and I wonder if it's a concession made to have the magnet fit in the head? Otherwise, it looks neat. I have the Brotoys Jill Valentine they made, and it's greatttt, with such impressive detail at the tiny scale.

Great job by brotoys, though they have used too much the same facesculpt ( it's the same that Jill valentine figure from them) if they had used another head ( more Japanese looks like) the figure had been excellent. Thanks for your review!

This is a beautiful figure, however for me to spend $85.00 or more on a figure, even with a lot of accessories. I need to have knowledge about the character. The only characters I'd spend💰, on who idk are characters that look, good and really really cool. But not at $85.00. My max for characters idk, is around $50.00-$55.00.

Great review as usual. Don’t mind the actual head sculpt, it just looks more like someone swapped a Marvel Legends or GI Joe head on an import body, the scale is way too big.

Spent 20 bucks on storm shadow and snake eyes. Im not even a big Joe fan but i had to get them. they dont make enough japanese figures like these. Now what i really wish is we could get some Tenchu Figures. I would rather have those than to get a new game. Activision could at least give us that. Also she would be considered a Bushi not a samurai. Many people dont know this. I didnt know this until i looked into Ayames character bio for Tenchu.

What happened?

@NostalgiaUnboxed shoulder pad strap came off easily when I was trying to adjust it. I instead glued it back on the figure same way as it should be. As for the mask, I too didn't like her face without the mask. Since the mask falls off very easily, I made a bold move and decided to super glue the mask to her face because I personally want her to look that way. One of the horns from her hat came off after she fell off my desk 😵‍💫 but I super glued that back together and looked good as new. But yeah those were my experiences. 😅
