Sean and Beth and family are amazing. He taught art for 25 years at Franciscan University which our children attended. They introduced regenerative ag in Oklahoma where my brother is a monk. The arms of mercy reach far and wide! Loved your reflections, Justin. You are gifted with words of wisdom.

Justin, this was the BEST Vlog ever! Giving Glory to God in all one's works, joy & sufferings. When one is doing work in the heat of the sun, it makes it quite bearable when one is thinking of all that our Lord suffered for us and He is with us every step of the way. Makes everything, a prayer offering of love.👍💖🥰

your last sentence says it all. A dear friend once asked me how come I keep a cross and a Holy family statue on my kitchen window sill? I replied I dislike washing the dishes, but I do it with love for my savoir, for my family.

@@auntgertrude2717 Amen. Every morning, I offer my whole day by the prayer: Eternal Father, I offer You all my prayers, works, joys & sufferings of this day, for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in reparation for my sins & those of the whole world. Amen. When you do this, you're giving your entire day as a love offering to God and you keep asking for the graces to be mindful of your offering and trying your hardest to accept all that happens in every given moment---yhe good and the not so good; such as sickness, etc... When I or my family gets sick, I pray, Lord, if this is not from You, then please bring us Your healing, but whatever Your will, I accept for Your Honor and Glory & for the saving of souls from hell. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen 🥰🙏💖

The mass is the main reason my family joined the Catholic Church last year! What a beautiful way to present such a beautiful truth.
@alinapatricia86392 жыл бұрын
You relayed a fairly accurate description of what Mass is. You were respectful and reverential with this special sacrament celebrated by Catholics. Think of Mass as a re-enactment of the Last Supper. This, in essence, is what is happening at Mass: Jesus sharing his last meal with His disciples, giving them a glimpse of what's to come (his crucifixion and his resurrection), and then sending them off to their mission to spread the Gospel. Thank you for being respectful.

I absolutely loved this video Justin. Shawn and Beth are living a life I wish I could. Farming and going to daily mass. If you really want to be blown away try attending a Traditional Latin rite High mass...incense and heavenly choir music. As a Catholic, senior woman, my desire has always been to farm...do things the way God intended for man, but we are city dwellers. We had five homebirths (9 kids), breastfed, tried homeschooling and I garden and can. But there is so much more I would like to do at my age. It's nice to teach the next generation these traditions. I enjoy watching your family grow in all aspects of homesteading. Shawn and Beth are a great example as well.Thank you so much for showing a Catholic view of homesteading. God Bless!

I just heard a sermon on Genesis 2:1-3 "So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed. On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and declared it HOLY, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation." So every other day of creation God called good or very good, but the day He rested He called holy. Holiday is also derived from holy and we get time off of work. God considers rest holy. He said that there is a rest for the people of God. Rest stems from trust. When we stop worrying about our future and fretting about our past and just trust that God has it all under control. This is holy living!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful family a good example of how to be Catholic. I was trilled when I saw this video and saw your family present at Mass. This is the only Church founded by Jesus. And two miracles take place at each mass. Only an ordain Catholic priest has the power to perform these miracles. The bread becomes the Body of Christ and the wine becomes His precious Blood. Not available in Protestant Churches. So we as Catholics must come to receive Him only IN the state of grace. We must go to confession if we have a mortal sin 1st, To regain Sanctifying Grace. Read John 6:54 "Unless you eat My Body and drink My Blood you have no life in you." God loves you and wants all to come to Him in the Mass. We should always realize that all comes from God and to say grace before meals and thanksgiving after meals. I Love your family. And Henry has grown so much. Your children are beautiful and so good. God has Blessed you Justin and Rebecca. You Could Be jumping with joy always . God bless you for this video in particular. By the way I really like the way you celebrate Birthdays, so fantastic.
