One of the best memories I’ve ever had was leaving a karaoke bar in Tokyo at 4am, realizing the sun was out and heading straight for the fish market where we watched the tuna being auctioned off and after following it to several stalls we followed a piece of it to a sushi restaurant at the edge of the market and had the best sushi I’ve had in my life at about 6:30am thanks to a very hospitable chef who opened up just for us while he began preparing for his daily service.
