Jess was one of the first homesteading videos I watched way back. I heard your name and started watching through her. I don’t own land, but lived in Central California for many years and appreciate agriculture and friends with dairies. My daughter just bought in Texas and as a Dietitian-she wants to grow a garden and have chickens.

She was the first homesteading video I watched too! I found her because of gardening of course but I'm thankful to learn about all the other stuff!

I am so inspired by Jess!! Our homestead property is in a run down town too, that is slowly becoming revitalized. And her excitement and ideas are just making my head spin for our little town and homestead property. I can't wait to see how her goals come to fruition!

Hi from Australia, your channel is the first one I watched. I like to learn about things and used to look at this and that, I do not even garden. The closest I have every come with growing my one food was some hens because my daughter was ill and she wanted eggs. I really love watching all the earlier videos and being a subscriber I get the notification come and grab my ice water and began to smile. Best wishes to all your family, and keep up with your meds and be thankful you have your children who help you.

I absolutely LOVE Roots & Refuge AND your family as well Justin!!!! These two channels are on my TOP HOMESTEADING families that I follow, along with Art & Bri. You have inspired me to "Plant a Seed", Jess has put that warmth in my heart and rekindled that flame my great grandmother created by showing me how to garden as a child. My mini homestead is started, and one day my dream will come true. It all starts with a dream, a vision, the will, and support system of community. One tiny seed.

The rotating bins would be good for flower bulbs in the spring, homemade goat soap, canning jar rings and lids, jar lifters, and wide mouth funnels. You could use them for just about anything small that doesn't stack well. They used to hold nails, screws, bolts, nuts and washers. I think canning supplies would be the best. You could put it near the canning classes area.
