This was a wonderful journey to listen to. What a special experience for you as an a artist and human. Some of your work was giving ghibli and the last page where you mentioned the top left one explained the scene without being explicit, that was my favourite. It left plenty to my imagination while I knew what I was looking at, and it has movement, energy. I hope you send your hosts an etagami postcard from your home, I bet they will love it.

Wow thank you so much , that is high praise and I don’t take it for granted, perhaps that is also what ghibli films do and that is a really good way to put it… to leave plenty to the imagination , I feel like that is another maxim worth remembering frequently I didn’t know about etegami but… now I will haha, thank you !

Thank you for this! I'm planning an art residency next March - 1 month accepted in Busan, South Korea, and I'm adding another month around, so a total of two months! The goal is also to paint every day, and you gave me a lot to think about. I love the idea of the book mentor. I'm primarily a sculptor, so a book about composition would be of great help I think. Maybe landscapes. Anyway, thank you and it's great to see it brought you so much! Also, loved your little paintings :)
