I Started a NECROMANCER CULT in Battle Brothers

In this video, we are playing the "Cabal" start in the Battle Brothers Legend mod. This start allows you to play as a group of Necromancers who are trying to establish a Necromancer's Cult.

Battle Brothers is a turn based tactical RPG which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory?
The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat.

Finally. Thanks a lot for this video. I like necromancer games with soldiers that level up, but few games do that. I've seen the principle in manga or manhuas like Solo leveling or Solo necromancer but few games do that.

It's a shame Simo is using a very old version of Legends. There were a lot of QoL features on the new versions like the type of contract is shown in the settlement screen when you hover it so that you can tell what contract it is without clicking it. Also the latest version has a new scenario where you start with one master necromancer and like some fodder units.

I'm just curious why they don't have any mounted units in this game, ig it makes sense in a way if there are no native horses in the region but you'd think through trade they'd stumble upon them. It would make the most sense that only Knights and people of high noble status could buy or get them in game so why not? It would be interesting to see tbh but then again certain terrains and map geography makes it unfavorable for mounted units tho I'd still like to see Cav be utilized in the game. Just my take.

Playing without that is miserable, but as a viewer, since there are so many cuts and so much is happening, I can't really grasp the situation well.
