2 months and a bit. Everything on this list can be done in less than 10 days. The hikes will eat the most time. If you just drive around and check things out you can see everything in less than a week. How long are you thinking to go?

We went with our own when we went. We saw a few people rent from what I assume is a service that runs like airbnb where you meet someone somewhere and rent directly from a private owner. What I can recommend is have a look on Black Friday with ARMAS for ferry tickets in-between islands as we saved loads by booking during black Friday week. Saved a few hundred euro.
