Nord Italian here, food in Italy could be very different from a region to another, (especially from nord to south) I suggest you to eat “typical regional” dishes, wherever you are, tagliatelle alla bolognese are not typical from north, and is not an excuse for a bad cooked one, but I know Trentino dishes and trust me, they are fantastic, next time you know 😊, love your videos! For next destination Tuscany (Siena during the Palio, that’s IS an experience) Puglia, Sardegna, Rome of course and actually everywhere

Will you ever do an "Worst Hotel" review again? I love those since you highlight the stuff that is good and not just blast them. I also like when you walk around the whole hotel and investigate every corner (which I guess those luxury hotels are not too excited about). Can't blame you for not going back to that era of your channel though. That said another great video. Really nice place and a lovely room but that shower and tub were a bit strange. That constant music blasting on full power would piss me off though and kill any hope for relaxation. A bit gutted that you didn't go for the breakfast with the alpakas. XD Thank you for being one of the most wholesome KZbin channels.

My Wife & I use to go to a Adult only Resort in the Pocono Pennsylvania mountains & We stayed for a 5 nights for what you paid & got Breakfast & Dinner & Nightly snacks, along with Afternoon snacks with happy hour. WE also had a Hot tub in our suite & our own indoor wading pool . Along with other aminities.

I’d love to know what resort you stayed at Poconos that was so grand, as I doubt it would ever compare to any place in the Alps. Thanks for a good laugh. Poconos seems to have been run down for some time. I wouldn’t get into a Poconos hot tub unless I poured a lot of bleach into it. 😂

Thanks Tim, I’ll bet Gaby was disappointed she missed out on this one !!! I thought it was really great ~~ love the idea of a private spa with that view. Dinner looked ok baby me, I don’t mind plain and having it served in a pan was unique and something I haven’t had before. Didn’t mind the bath near the bed however thought the shower 8n the middle of the room was a little weird, considering you had one in the bathroom ! Loved all the little spa spots (say that fast 3 times), you will, I’ll bet and adored all the lights. I’d be guttered if I could only spend one night there ~~ however I’d be bored over a week ~~ maybe 3 nights. Don’t think you should have had to pay for the water, after all, you are in the Alps ~~ alpine water ~~ I would have to have found some natural place to drink fresh cold water ! The flip flops and bathrobe are really for the spa areas, and most places really don't want you walking around the hotel in just your robe. The furry slippers are for wearing in your room.

Hi Tim - it really is great that you are showing all these different hotels .. not just the typical English places .. but all over the world and you go out of your way to stay in Cranes in Amsterdam - which I watched before this vid ( Amsterdam is great but that Crane Hotel was mega overpriced for what it was and creepy ) this place was complete opposite to Amsterdam .. lovely quirky hotel ... also not cheap ... but for a couple whose into instagram/facebook and on honeymoon to show friends - I guess its their cup of tea ... the music booomming all the time was tasteless and in a low end Ibiza end of town next to sleazy nightclub ... I feel if youre paying this kind of monies and service .. you would want peace and quiet to cherish the views in tranquil quietness and see the sun set over the mountains with your partner ... but yet again Tim you knocked it out of the park and I tip my hat off to you .😀

Really, another adventurous gem from Tim and his outstanding channel! Different unique stay up in the Alps, some lovely special points but not overall worth the next day cost/bill, unless it is a focus on visiting the Alps mountain experience in my view, hated that dinner, loved that breakfast and hope Tim is reunited with angelic Gaby and cutest of cute, Casper, and having a belated Valentine’s weekend!!!

Wow! I’m blown away by how beautiful it is. The chalet/suite you were in is actually my idea of the perfect home (just on a very slightly larger scale). All the cosy nooks and crannies to nestle into and admire the view. Also, the breakfast was so tastefully presented. The only detail I’d change is the music. It was way too loud and energised for such a peaceful setting.

Hi Tim , ever thought of taking your family to the Island of st Helena in the mid Atlantic off Africa. You can get there from England direct or from Cape Town or Johannesburg. Yes it was worth it for the experience. A once in a lifetime special. It looked amazing. The breakfast looked incredible. The evening meal didn't look like the same standard. It would be a great special holiday. I didn't mind the DJ at all.

I've had this on my wishlist for ages. Not so sure now. For me it's the little things that can make or break like bare wires and a robe with a hole in it. The hotel reminds me of the Nidum Casual Luxury hotel in Mösern, west of Innsbruck. We stayed there back in 2018 on our first holiday after moving to Austria. The food at the Nidum was really good, too! And I remember the breathtaking mountain views and watching passenger jets travelling along the valley below us as they prepared to land at Innsbruck airport. One thing (in addition to the less than stellar dinner) that would put me right off the hotel in your video is the loud music blasting out which sounds like it would destroy any chance of peaceful contemplation of the wonderful scenery.

My mum dad are from the Carnic and Julian Alps but I have ski-ied many times in Ponte de Legno and Tonale and on the Adamello glaciers which is up the road from Vermiglio. Hope you enjoyed it all.

​@@WalkWithMeTim When Italians eat for dinner/lunch your pasta dish would have been your first course (Primi) and you would have a second course which would have included some meat and vegetable (which you didn't have). An antipasto is common at the start of the meal. A dessert would have been a treat. Be grateful you didn't go for the Italian menu .. you would have really moaned if you selected polenta (which I am sure would have been offered as it is a typical and staple Alpine food). My Alpine mum would make it now and again and all the 4 siblings in my family would moan big time when it appeared on the table. Polenta is incredibly BLAND and that is why you don't see it at Bella Italia or any of the British Italian chain restaurants. Polenta is now a go to food for me whenever I am in Italy. Italian food incorporates veal in many dishes which will put people off straightaway - and not something you find in Bella Italia. Moreover, spaghetti carbonara is not made with any cream at all and you would not see a pasta and meatball dish as it is an American innovation. Italian food isn't all it is cracked up be (it is regional based and quite simple and plain).. and Italians are absolutely useless when it comes to making desserts and more often than not is laced with alcohol (well my mum's desserts were with Marsala).

I really dislike how minimalistic all the hotels are today. It's like in this age of enviromentalism, people who run these things don't believe in vegetation anymore. There's not a single plant in the building.

Have you seen what’s outside? It vegetation all over, plus I think is not really environmental cutting plants to put in hotels

@@purplerain1975 Yes I believe you but what I meant was to get natural fresh air from the plants to inside hotels, not to forget how beautiful and more living they make many space. Even thought your country has lots of fresh air You're lucky to breath fresh mountain air out there, I'm lucky to breath fresh lapland air in Finland, on Friday we will have -25C, that's a bit too fresh hahah :D Imagine if we were living in big town on China or place like that, gross.. But yeah I'm actually planning to come over to Switzerland this year or next on to holiday trip with my daughter. My German friend lives there and can get me -60% discount for some hotel chain so probably can afford to come over. Have saw the alps only from the airplane and dream to see them on more closer view! Happy new year 25!

I was in the North Italian Alps over Easter. Was expecting mild-rainy weather so hadn't packed for summer! Every day was scorchio. :) Gorgeous area. Loved Bolzano. I think the Chalet Al Foss might be a choice place for young couples, newly weds and honeymooners.
