I Stayed in a Mountain Treehouse in Jibhi (Spiti Valley Day 2)

In searching for accomodations in India i stumbbled upon this hidden tiny home treehouse in the mountains of Jibhi! Only a short 3 hour drive away from manali its a good Half way point on your way to Kalpa if youre doing the Spiti Valley motorbike tour. However the drive up this mountainside cottage was not easy but the views at the top were so worth it!

It’s kinda hilarious seeing you experience typical Indian stuff for the first time. The buckets in the bathroom are a common fixture. It’s used for bathing, as many people aren’t still used to showers or prefer not using a shower because it wastes water. Buckets do help with laundry too, of course. Another beautiful video! Jibhi is so close to where I live.

@14:05 That's how people shower. So the fill the big bucket with water and use the smaller bucket to pour water over them selves and give their body a wash. It's not a laundry.

I always love tree house. So beautiful❤. Have you been to Dalat in Vietnam yet? This place is similar to Dalat with beautiful mountain view, trees and especially the fog😍. Dalat has many lovely wooden homestays and delious foods.

Not in all hotels water bucket with mug/jug is served in bathroom but the reason in my opinion is a traditional way of taking bath just to make it sure the facilities are available to all.Hope you got the message what it meant to be. 14:02 This is for bath, if you don't prefer shower you can bath using bucket and mug. And you can even wash clothes if you want to!

Also that's bucket 🪣 people use it instead of shower by th majority of the crowd here . Also the smaller tumbler is called a mug use that to pour water on yourself and wash your bootie lol
