One of the saddest songs ever written. Johnny Cash could make you cry when he sang it.
@simonrussell19443 ай бұрын
I saw Elvis Costello at a gig in London a few days after Johnny Cash passed, for the encore he came on without the band, single spotlight and no amplification ( not even the mic ) and did this song. His voiced filled the hall all the way to the back ( Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank...big venue ). It was SO moving...the greatest live music moment I will ever experience, and as the last notes faded everyone stood clapping, cheering and crying.

I miss these 2 little girl s me and my family once had in our lives.the court gave them by to their father and mother. .the parents gave them to us because they didn't want to take care of them . We got them when they were 16 months old and 2 years old we have not got to see them are talk to them in 3 years. One day these parents will have to answer to God in judgment day for their wrong doing.

There is so much suffering and mine is so little compared with others. May we all gain enlightenment and bring no more suffering to ourselves and others. We can wish enlightenment on those who do us wrong and this harms us less than our anger and hatred.

Not at first , they were a little off because Elvis was singing a little to loud . But after she did the first solo part he came back in just right and they sounded great .
@biggestkkfan15062 жыл бұрын
@@tfe423 I do not agree on that 😉 If one's voice was too loud it was hers, since he was singing leading voice and she harmony 😊
@tfe4232 жыл бұрын
@@biggestkkfan1506 , Nope . Clearly she was lead vocal . That is way she sang a verse solo . Elvis did not sing any parts by himself . And if you notice she starts the lines and he comes in just behind her . This holds true up until the last line of the song that he starts .
@biggestkkfan15062 жыл бұрын
@@tfe423 that's the point 😊 his tune is the leading tune. Check out others with this song. Otherwise I would have the wrong tune in my mind 😉 Johnny wrote this song, so he should know for sure kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYjWpYZ_bNyIgLs

আমি এখনও কাউকে মিস করি............ 😰😰 Lyrics: At my door, the leaves are falling A cold wild wind will come Sweethearts walk by together And I still miss someone I go out on a party And look for a little fun But I find a darkened corner 'Cause I still miss someone😰😰 Oh, no I never got over those blues eyes I see them everywhere I miss those arms that held me When all the love was there I wonder if she's sorry For leaving what we'd begun There's someone for me somewhere And I still miss someone I still miss someone😰😰

I'll never understand the hooping and hollering during a performance. So distracting, especially in a gorgeous ballad like this one. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but save it until the song is finished.

It’s the me generation. People are just so f-ing rude. That kind of fan reaction should be saved for your brother in law’s band playing “Up Against the Wall Redneck Mother” at the neighbourhood bar.
