The Stories all of us addicts have are so unreal to people who have never had addictions! Sometimes when I think back to some of my days as a addict it’s unreal to me drugs turned me into someone else and I don’t like that person! I’ve been clean now for 2 years and I’m proud of myself I did it! To all my fellow addict bro and sis I love you all!!

This is why the desire to belong is at most cases comparable if not worst than addiction, Everyone goes through it even me. I guess where we differ is what stuff I used to get to that goal? Some people use drugs some always go to something positive.

Why people with happy childhoods start using drugs? Curiosity?
@KezJUNGLIST5 жыл бұрын
because it doesn't matter if you are sad or happy, the effects of drugs are interesting and without proper harm reduction education in place people just won't be able to use in moderation, attributing fear to drugs may work for some sheltered people but as soon as they meet other people who don't see drugs as demonic entities then it peaks their interest, stories like this are important, one must be able to view the positives & negatives without thinking their parents just don't want them to have any fun

A prescription from my doctor exposed me to pain medication, which made me euphoric. When I was of legal age, I knew trying a drink didn't make me an alcoholic. I hope that helps.

Depression hits any of us. Doesn't matter how you grow up or with whom, it can hit you and when you're immature and naive drugs and alcohol can seem very handy to make you feel better.
