Great video. I need some advice on picking a major in college. I don’t what to pick and to be honest I don’t what I’m interested in. It’s very difficult for me to pick and do it. Also, I’m struggling in my science classes and my gpa and my sgpa ain’t looking that great. Just need advice or help. It would mean a lot if u respond

May be worth it to take classes for things that may be interesting while you take your premed courses and then say "ohh psych was cool or comp sci was cool" and use that to drive your direction

After IM residency let's say I'm managing both OP and IP in a hospital for only day time only in USA. I didnot sign for any nyt shifts. Will I get a nyt call if a case admitted under my name in IPD goes serious. I will definitely not go to hospital bcz nyt shift doctor will manage the serious case. But will I get a nyt call just bcz that case is admitted under my name though its not my night shift.

Question. How do you measure your study time? Say you study 10 hours in a day, does that equate to every minute your eyes are on a textbook, or your reviewing notes? Just curious because everyone tracks things a little differently. I have been starting to study with a stopwatch, and I'm pretty strict about it. So if my mind starts to wander or I switch to another tab, I will stop the timer until I'm back on task. So I feel like my 45 minutes might end up being somebody else 1hr30min if that makes sense. Just found your channel, you are very clear and lucid so thank you!

Great question. I don't get too into the weeds in tracking since it likely takes time away from the actual work. Often I create a pre-schedule in Google Calendar of when I want to work on what. Then I can assess where certain tasks took longer and get an idea of how much over or under I was. But I include "lecture, reading, reviewing, practice questions" in the video. Timer method sounds effective but the the actual timer is not helping you study faster - in fact I argue it may just be another thing you're trying to keep track of. There are some free tracking apps like Rescue Timers or anti-distraction apps for the phone that can help with something similar. Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel! Hope we can continue to help you out :D
