I Stumbled Upon the Fastest Mochi Maker in Japan

Walking along the streets of Nara, Japan, I suddenly heard screaming and a saw long line of people. We had stumbled upon the fastest Mochi Makers in Japan!
Mochi is a rice dough pounded from sticky rice. They can pound the dough up to three times a second. Featured in this video is Great Big Story and a bit of their footage from their awesome video on these guys. This was some tasty Japanese street food.
