Honestly, this is a video series as good as anything I've read or watched -- and that includes the TV shows Jericho and Revolution, as well as the book series "Ashes," written by William W. Johnstone. Well done!

Jericho was so good, too! Revolution had a decent foundation but just got old fast in my mind. I'd definitely highly recommend the Metro book series to help round out the list or John Barnes' Daybreak series.

@@mastoner20 : How long are those series? The "Ashes" series is 31 books, and then some. The author, Johnstone, was actually in the progress of releasing the first book of a second series called "The Last Rebel" when he died. The "Ashes" series, IMO, is probably the most realistic, with regards to human behavior in a post-apocalyptic world.

And this is an approximation of what would likely happen. Some things would fall into gray areas. Many people (even some who would not believe they would do it now) would be willing to defend themselves with violence to survive or to help those they work with survive (despite whatever differences they may have). The anarchists would absolutely love this story line.

By far the writers have created a tale of survival, revenge, duty, honor, and love through the worst events in human history. The saga will hook you within minutes of the opening and bring you on a rollercoaster ride culminating in a unhealthy desire for more. Similar to the episodic weekly programs of the golden years of both television and radio. Bravo and kudos to the writers, animators, and production staff for bringing this project to life and into our lives. We, the fans, await with baited breathe for the next installment.

Wow. The Iron Lady is starting to make frightenly much sense. I just want to say Infographics, you're really on to something here. I've never seen storytelling more captivating. With the length of these, and the response, you got yourself a new nisje right here. This is so perfect for KZbin, but carries the quality of a good movie. Been waiting for this. This got me hyped. Couldn't clearly see the animation due to my Uveitis so I had to listen to it with my eyes closed but the storytelling, world building and the narrator's voice are so great that clear mental images appear right away. This kept me entertained while I undergo several medical examinations. Kudos to the Infographics Show. Total respect and admiration for you guys. Edited : Sorry for some typos and grammar error(s). @@lakshay7998 I can still see stuff on my phone especially with the brightness up. YT dark mode helps as well but typing takes time for me. Videos and images tho is another story. Basically my eyes are sensitive to light and "blinking cloud-like objects" are all over affecting my vision so if I'm not on dark mode commenting here would almost be impossible. So dark mode + brightness up helps further highlight the texts enough for me to read. Hope I was able to explain it well enough

I took the time to watch from day 1, to the end of this episode. This series has been absolutely captivating. I love the moral dilemmas the hero faces, as all scenarios seem plausible post civilization. No surprise to see Watson growing on me, but I was surprised at agreeing with the iron woman. I originally thought that they were a group of fanatics until she explained, then a real group of fanatics attacks them. Lol this has been a thrilling, morbid, and amazing adventure so far.

Love how the raiders and the Iron Lady got more fleshed out and shown to not be as black and white as things seemed. As much as I loved Fallout New Vegas one of its shortcomings/failings was how it portrayed the central conflict. The NCR is clearly the good guys while the Legion is clearly the bad guys. But that's not how it should have unfolded at all. NCR should have been clearer that they simply wished to control the land for its resources but was unable to actually control the land proper. Meanwhile the Legion, despite their harsh laws, was bringing stability to the land. Too bad our first encounter with them was likely with an entire town being crucified and we see little to nothing of them actually bringing order to the land or improving it in any way. I wonder how many people sided with the NCR simply because they never even got a chance to see the Legion as anything BUT evil? It wasn't until years later that I really understood that, by siding with them, I'd basically doomed the region to being basically an exploited third world nation either dependent on the NCR for it's security (which it wasn't capable of providing properly) or effectively annexed into the NCR losing any degree of independence it may have had against its will.

Interesting thoughts, and I remember Fallout New Vegas vividly, and the legion was portrayed as the "bad guys" pretty early on, but, on a 2nd play thru, got me wondering if they were really as bad as the NCR made them out to be? They were very different, and there was a hellova propaganda war going in within the game, that's for sure.

​@@MrToranaGuy They are as bad as the NCR makes them out to be; but you can kind of tell that it wasn't meant to be that way. The NCR comes off as distant, unable to enforce actual order and more concerned with securing the dam than anything else. So ideally the outcome would have been that the Legion would have brought order, cracked down on raiders, and actually directly improved the land while also being harsh and cruel and everything. So if we sided with them likely things like exterminating raiders and the like and actually constructing infrastructure and such but also the enactment of legion laws. But instead the legion comes off as clearly evil and little better than the uncivilized people they claim to want to destroy. It COULD have worked, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows that NV got badly rushed.

Yeeeeeees Just Yes The stories, the characters, the writing. This is better than most novels. Our main protagonist is playing a lot like throne from Star Wars. And the army of the dawn, a lot like the empire. He has to work for, and fight with them, to protect big bear, and keep their eye off big bear. Just like throne has to fight with the empire to keep their eye off the Chisst. And the longer he’s with the army, the most he admires the army’s leader, the Iron Lady, as he’s using it to face off against the true monsters. Protecting everyone, gets complicated. I love the new dynamics you’ve implemented. These stories are my favorite part of your channel!
