I agree with Wally, because the game had never gotten that much popularity the devs had to do something to get new players hooked. Their decision was to make the game “more fun” by lowering the skill gap between new and old players. Which in turn makes old players have less of a chance to get the thrilling experience that was once the hype of rust. Love you Wally ❤

State of the game is leaning towards the casual and new gamers which seems to be common with most games that's been around for years. It sucks for the chads out there, but it's great content for YT channels. You'll know when rust is in a steep decline when half your viewers drop. Let's not forget the majority of rust revenue doesn't come from players with 10k hours.

Challenge Suggestion ❤: NO Base, No Upkeep. Live in tunnels or under monuments. Lots of little hiding places where sleepers can be used to store loot as no boxes are required. Deployable’s like WB and furnaces can be placed, but not in a base. Alternatively, make use of T1 at outpost and snowball loot.

The game has more new player than ever. I know a lot of us don't like it and feel the need to hold on to the past but in order for rust and company to be any type of lucrative then need to expand to newer and hopefully bigger audience. Rust in 2014, wasn't rust in 2018, and it isn't rust in 2023. The game has to evolve sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. But the fact that your still here since 2014 is a testament to how good rust actually is.

Willjum builds 1 foundation bunker bases that tank 16 rockets. You could have done a smoker video within in this challenge. Bloo and spoonkid did the water only challenge and the island only challenge. Do some more duo team ups with other creators. With the challenges. Mostly of my hours in rust was on rust legacy and some of the newer rust. So i totally agree with you @Wally1k. Rust at this point is not solo friendly at all. Its all about raiding fastest possible and make the biggest zergs on the servers.

There is a bug that destroys deployables when they collide with building structures. This can happen when a ladder or twig buildup is placed on a shared wall with a deployable. Losing your AK box was because someone either placed a ladder, twig or was able to destabilize your base somehow. You can duplicate the bug by placing a ladder on a wall then placing twig over the top of it. It will destroy the ladder.

Fun fact, 4 boxes can go in the roof and still be lootable and then 3 can go in bottom with a furnace fitting down there too, or 4 and the furnaces in airlock with t2 and bag, then 2 Boxes on tc floor😅🤓
