As a veteran long distance plane traveler, I have a few bits of advice that have worked for me. 1. Get a comfortable neck pillow. oftentimes there is no good place to put a pillow to rest. The shape of these make them very flexible and a flight without a pillow at all can be rough. 2. Red eyes. flying while you should be sleeping means sleeping when you should be flying, and can save a few bucks as well. 3. Some sort of hand fan, planes can get hot with body heat and the vents they have are wholly inadequate. Some way to help keep cool is useful. 4. Drugs. no not the illegal kind, but you will be sitting stiff in an awkward position maybe for 14 hours, so a muscle relaxant and maybe even a sleeping pill can be useful for making it through to the other side. it once took me 3 weeks to get over a muscle kink I got in my neck travelling 26 hours over the span of 3 days. In economy you don't have room to stretch. 5. Be rich. If you fly first or business class almost all these problems can be avoided. Comfortable seats to sleep in, free booze, working fans and room to stretch. Good luck.
@nfh688jfnie2 ай бұрын
I can add one more. 1. Dress decently, look nice. You will be treated better and with more respect. 2. Be respectful to the boarding and plane staff.

I think I ran into this old man on the train in 2016. Empty car except for myself, my friend, a woman, and an old man. My friend had his leg crossed, and even though NO ONE needed the space, the old man started yelling at him for sitting that way (and being a foreigner) and then ATTACKED him. He grabbed him by the throat! My friend was 6'4" and easily manoeuvred out of the way. Then the woman stepped in and politely diffused the situation, explained that the man was just old, racist, and drunk. Wild stuff.

Xethl, that's another subject entirely. I'm questioning the validity of this specific incident, and you bringing that subject up in tandem with this one is rather disingenuous and makes me wonder what your motives really are. And your further comment pulling a red herring strawman on me honestly just further proves my point. Sad Nicolasdefontenay, that number gets thrown around a lot because people don't want to research anything. The reason why the number is so high is because the Japanese police (for the most part) will do so much detailed investigating that the individual in question can't argue against the sheer volume of actual fact against them. The problem people have with this number is this erronious idea of people getting arrested for no reason and just getting thrown into the slammer.

I agree with Chris about doing the long haul flights. Movies pass the time the fastest and also sleeping if you can. Get up, walk and stretch every few hours and take the opportunity to go to the toilet when you can before they serve meals or you can get stuck behind the food trolley. Ask any Australian or Brazilian who travels, every leg takes about 14hrs or that times 2. Australia to England usually takes at least 24hrs with a halfway stop over in Thailand, Singapore or Hong Kong depending on who you fly with.

I used to take quarterly flights from Seattle to Singapore, which is about 16 hours. The advice given by Chris is good, though I'd say, do something you typically lose track of time doing, whether that's reading, watching a movie or playing games. However, one issue I had was, some of those movies I used to love, I now associate with the arduous flight, and I don't quite enjoy them like I used. Something I opted to do instead, and has really worked well for me is, learn to sleep with earplugs and an eye mask. Do not sleep within 18 hours of your flight, then try to sleep on the plane. This might not work for everyone, but for me, I knock right off, and end up sleeping for at least 8 hours and on some occasions 12. If you're an alcohol drinker, have a beer or glass of wine right before.

Unfortunately this is all too common in Japan, a lot of old men on complete power trips as you say. Mix of reasons but mainly they were the ones in charge during the country's apex in the bubble era.They now feel utterly impotent and are a walking representation of the country's economic demise. But even the younger generation (those in their 50's 60's) display similar qualities. The biggest reason is that Japanese men are the most insecure men in the world. Hence anybody better looking / younger / from a more successful background / country / whatever, regardless of your gender -- yes, I'm a woman and have been at the receiving end of many of these impotent power trips -- is a target.

@@Saxm13a yes the classic his viewers mate get a grasp on Reality he always tells his viewers to not do that stuff and he finds out on his stream they are banned instantly you cant blame 1 person for god how many viewers he has doing something bad while stating many times not to do so.and second people with at least one braincell don't care if devs work hard.but bring out a bad product if you only want to be in your own positive don't release stuff publicly or release a good product and you are fine

Asmongold is spot on on most of his critiques on games, movies, shows, etc. The devs with their forced d.e.i. have ruined many games. Their pandering to the "modern audience" has tanked many a game. Concord is a great example with it being yanked in 8 days. And Dustborn which was financed with government money is a travesty.

Why the podcast has only 83600 followers, that's ridiculous!

I would just say you are wasting my time... i know it is rude but saying same things over and over again.. I this point I would just go away and in the grand scale of things nothing can beat time when it comes to value, therefore he is even more rude...

Hey, Asmongold's room ain't that bad anymore! He only has a dead rotting posom stuck somewhere in the walls.😅

i'm sorry but Asmongold is one of the only people online who does reaction content right. he creates a new format with his own opinions, always credits the original video tells you to watch it and also watches ads or sponsoring in the original video to not hurt the original creator. so i don't get why he gets all the hate?

When Chris makes a video it takes days to film and days to edit and Asmongold just watches the video and gets hundreds of thousands of views. However you could also argue Asmon has a massive audience that he can point to that channel just by watching a few videos. It's a weird situation.
