Any tips on how to tell my parents i want to quit competitive dance after doing it for 11 years?? Try outs are a few days away and i think my mom already payed for everything, so i feel bad for wanting to tell her now that i fell out of love with it. I want to quit because after being injured this summer and not being able to dance I felt the happiest i had ever been, i even recovered from my mild eating disorder. I want to get a gym membership and also start running again. I feel like I could be the best version of myself doing that. Thinking about dance starting and being worried about it has really taken a toll on my mental health. Someone please help😭
