its better to play aggressive and take risks than playing too safe. I think you can become a grandmaster like your parents if you know when to take risks and when not to take risks in the most stressed games. I really believe that.

Super cool to see how much chess is a such an internal psychological battle - almost more so than against your opponent. Especially at these pre and intermediate master levels. You are good enough to be dangerous - meaning you understand all the threats and can calculate out at a good level but you don’t trust yourself enough in key moments and second guess your over the board analysis constantly. You are always seemingly just as close to defeating yourself as your opponent is to beating you. Thanks for these awesome perspectives, Anna! When in doubt like at @8:11, the QC2 move, can't you visualize 5 to 10 moves ahead to determine whether it is a great move?? Seemed like there was time and this move just looks like a power move. (I once visualized 11 moves ahead and beat the computer as it played every move I visualized. Long time ago and I'm no chess genius.)
