Dang outstanding and credible review bro. I need to do the same about my often praised Harely Benton. The bridge is wilkenson and also has a tiny tiny string area thats bent into the steel plate so thats why my e strings keep breaking after a while on 17th or 15th fret bends past full step. That and the well known 3 way cheap switch.

Thanks man. Loosen the string and put some chap stick or vaseline on the saddle, where the string will lay. That should help with the breaking. Need to replace those saddles it sounds like.

I had a guitar with a Wilkinson not too long ago. I didn’t love it. It was okay

I am usually happy with them, but this only had 4 or 5hrs of play time on it. May just be a one off bad experience.

Nah, it's had less than 4hrs play time since it was installed. I just threw the old one back in. Buy something better later. But yeah, I could easily do that. Pretty sure I have some laying around.
