The reason rata is so liked is imo cause he puts incredibly effort into his videos and takes a lot of time fine tuning his videos to perfection, which normally KZbin doesn’t appreciate but his fanbase is so appreciative of his craft that it creates an amazing feedback loop, allowing him to keep making his style of content

It also helps that he is a genuinely witty person. A lot of popular people in card game circles are more often than not pretty unfunny. (Let's be fair, being good at a card game, and being funny have zero necessary overlap so it's not a criticism). So when someone who is legitimately funny turns up, they often stand out. My favourite example for this is hearthstone. Darkmanne made 1 video about the game, 4-5 years ago, and the jokes he made in it are still mainstays within the community. He wasn't even part of the community, but he made the best jokes that anyone had made about the game. Rata is a bit like that, but part of the community.

I'd really love just having a format (not necessarily podcast) where Farfa and like one or two other content creators (both from ygo and not from ygo, like cr1tickal or whomever could be fun) and just discussing things. I really really love the divorce streams with gage and MBT and I think Farfa has a chill enough personality that he could probably mesh well with a lot of people, maybe preparing some questions and topics in advance but I'd be super down for this.
