One of the big reasons I personally believe the Rata UK video took off is because of the announcement and release of UK Act II's full release a couple weeks after the video was announced, which has been in production and anticipated for a VERY long time. New act hype leads to people searching for UK content on YT leads to people finding the gem that is Rata's video. Great video that initially flopped due to "youtube being youtube" into being one of the most viewed UK videos of all time.

I think so many yugitubers/personalities in the community could totally kill it expanding in other genre of videos, or topics, and I really mean this. I'm super happy rata was successful with the ultrakill (which was what finally convinced me to buy it), but is also cool seeing your variety streams (like today's fifa or whenever you play pokemon), I really liked coder speed running mario 64 and mbt playing ace attorney and the mario party collabs. I know it's more risky to move away from your comfort zone (especially because it's your job), but I'm always happy when those occasions happen

I stumbled upon Rata through "Archetype 101" videos, which I don't remember why or how I got there, since I barely play Yu-Gi-Oh!. His dry and sometimes bizarre humor kept me interested, and even got me interested enough to become a card collector. And both his "Pathetic Aesthetic" streams and his Overkill review made it clear that I just generally enjoy his style of commentary. Also, I only found out several weeks after the Morbin meme infested the internet, that Rata was to blame for that...
