Military was flying around looking for the 'perfect' spot to run a covert military aircraft program. I forget the Commander's name, but when he saw how far the very long dry lake bed was from civilization, he said 'that's the spot'. Everyone are so worried about fenced in "area 51" my question is what's underground and under the salt bed, So many workers going in and out, seems to be more going on than building aircraft.
