@@kellylorang6845 I'm Only Speaking of the "Honorable" ones, but years ago, before "Cams" and Cell phone video, Some officers would stop you, give you a verbal warning, send you on your way, and Never write it up. For example, a DUI stop, driver was asked to exit the vehicle, the cop took the keys and locked them in the vehicle. Drove the guy home or called him a cab, and told him to Come back in the morning, or get someone else to pick up your car. No charges, no criminal record, No longer a threat to public safety, No harm done. With EVERY WORD and Action DOCUMENTED, The Police have no choice but to follow procedure. A few Bad Cops, and a large majority of Self Entitled members of the General public, who refuse to own up to their actions have brought us to this. She’s going to be saddled with a felony for the rest of her life, she can’t work in her chosen industry for a minimum of two years (and possibly beyond, as she will struggle to be considered for a position once the employer becomes aware of her past behavior), and she’ll have to deal with the fallout of her court appearance being shown on national television.
