You think the attorney could stay off his phone long enough to hear the victim impact statements? Rude and unprofessional.

The Presbyterian Church in this local area is really responsible for dumping a ton of responsibility with unearned authority on this dishonest woman. This is where good, consistent supervision is required in order for church organizations to do well financially. Who was responsible for this woman??? Come on, folks. However, this woman should go to jail not only due to the damage she's done to the denomination, but to the unnamed victims who would have received assistance from local parishes, had the funds been there. This is a travesty.

1) guaranteed never to secure employment to generate funds towards paying anyone back with a prison record. 2) while her guilt is her guilt, the church had zero governance and the board should be sacked as their lack of controls facilitated the fraud. 3) employed under qualified staff, had no controls, no supervision….. very surprised insurance company paying out. 4) church on notice that the she was under financial pressure and still no governance/controls. She is guilty but so are the church in their inadequacy.
