Nice to see a Texas Filipino episode from Mel's perspective... Overall, a very wholesome life, much to do daily... But to cap or start the day's activities, a relaxing walk on the beach provides chances to reflect, regenerate, and appreciate... On another note, having the kitchen inside really opens the door to fixing up some great chow! As a former chef (for real, I started in the Army as a kid with back of the house cheffing), I appreciate some good home cooking! Having such a large property requires a lot of cleaning and maintenance... The elements are not kind to structures... Constant upkeep is a must... It doesn't get done by itself... I can see that Mel is on it! Life is good. Seeing just how good with this episode... Thanks, you two! 👍😎👍

Lovely video again Madame, Sadly, a long walk anywhere, let alone a beach , is beyond my capabilities these days! It was very interesting, to see the actual slope of the beach. When there is the high tide. The depth is pretty good. My local beach back in England. Had about 12 feet of water at high tide( twice a day), but at low tide, one had to walk out a mile or more to have a paddle. As you might imagine, the speed of the water coming in and out, was quite impressive ( beyong swimming speed!). In the summer season, we had inshore rescue boats( including a small hovercraft!), to rescue the numerous visitors, who were unaware( in spite of the many warning signs!!!), of the danger! Regards to all. Roger

It is good that you are using BMP (Best Management Practice) in the garden, for example allowing some butterfly and caterpillar to stay. The butterflies help to pollenate and to also attract birds. We are slowly learning to use BMP in the US farming also. Protecting habitat is hard like you say, especially the coral, but all countries including the US and other large countries are mostly responsible for warming seas and loss of reef habitat for the fish. It is wonderful Mel that you add the cooking also to the video, I hope to learn some of it!
