I am trying to decide full power or Bosch SX. It's hard to find a bike to test. Looking at the Mondraker, Pivot or Levo. Maybe the Norco Range. That may be too much travel?

I think the days of the Super Light, low power bikes are coming to an end. Just look at the new crop of bikes with full power and sub 20kg weights. I feel, for myself, if you are getting an ebike, go big and and go full. Otherwise, what's the point? 😊

Nice review, looking at the Nebo Peak very closely. Too bad Orbea didn't have the new 2025 Rise available, would have been great to demo that one, now that they released it lol

How did the Giant feel with the Fox suspension compared to the Rock Shox on Nate's bike?

I think I liked the rockshox set up better. It was a bit easier to get it dialed than a fox suspension

@sdtrailrider8070 I highly recommend finding a demo event and test riding the bikes you are interested in. Very helpful to test everything from bikes to components

I’d be curious to see how the Trek Fuel EXE compares to these 4. It’s the stealthiest ebike I’ve ever seen.

I rode one awhile back and the motor whirl was basically non existent. the torque felt similar to what I experienced on the specialized and just a tad weaker than the fazua ride 60. I think trek did a fantastic job with the fuel exe making it ride exactly like a regular pedal bike.

Thanks for the info. Will probably be my next ebike. I have a Trek Rail but like the idea of adding stealthy low power bike to the stable. The full power Rail is tons of fun but makes it too easy to just have the motor do all of the work and my fitness is definitely suffering.

​@@frankiesemtb it is TQ who made it ride like regular bike. Trek purchased, designed and assembled into their bike motor, battery and controller that tq designed and made ;) btw they had no demo bikes on sea otters, like they don't want customers
