Great video! A small correction - all FTRs come with 1203cc V-twin liquid Cooled engine. You can see a radiator cap in your POV camera. Take care!

Loving my FTRs…. The first few rides I thought the stock seat was gonna have to go. Any distance near 100 miles and I was not liking it. Took a few minutes and put all the suspension settings to factory recommended settings (except for the rear shock spring pre-load… recommended spring pre-load is way too much/too stiff)at least until it has broken in. All of the damping settings were off a good bit….but it handled pretty great, just i was sore by 100 miles. After tweaking the settings…. What a huge difference. Now I ride 2,3,400 + miles in a day and am not beat up like before. I am not sure if the base model FTR has selectable ride modes….but on mine I finally started using “Sport mode” more and it really does make a difference. Rear cylinder deactivation is a real help to on stop and go heat build up. Cruise control is nice as well.

nice review man, they look like a fun bike but my 50 year old back doesn't like the way you have to sit on them or that seat lol I'd love to see what my xr1200 could do against one of these and a new sportster s.

My understanding is that it'd the same engine from the scout bobber just tuned differently

I think the ftr engine is 1200cc and the scout bobber is a little over 1100

Same bloc but with a different bore same stroke 1203cc for the FTR and 1133cc for the scout
