Thank you! I am in South Florida. I was applying Glyphosate and Flumigard underneath my hedges and saw a small patch of Dallis grass on the lawn beside a pathway on my community. We have all St Augustine, but I went ahead and killed everything with that combination before it gets in my lawn. It is better to kill everything, and let St Augustine to grown back later…it will grown later. By the way, Flumigard is the cheaper version of SureGuard. The worst weed in my case here is Dayflower, that I treat with Celsius + Certainty or better with Image Southern Lawns or South Avenue.

North East Texas here, and I did a spray of Glyphosate over my St A yard to kill weeds also. I figured the St A would come back eventually over the dead area.

I had good success with Tribute total with the recommended follow up. Then Specticle flo in the fall and I was weed free all winter. Can't say the same about the neighbors.

Dude if you weren’t in another state I would swear you been in my toolbox lol. Great video. Tribute and revolver together. 3 biweekly applications. Does pretty good knocking back dallis grass.

A small paint brush and some glyphosate usually does the trick and causes minimal damage to the grass if you're careful.

Quinclorac kills it. 2 times at max rate with a nitrogen liquid Fertilizer mixed in as well. Make sure to use a surfactant.

Will the Celsius and certainty kill goose grass? On Bermuda and Centipede

Probably not. I use dismiss nxt on Bermuda for goosegrass

Would you have any recommendations for knocking out zoysia in Bermuda? I’ve got a couple of spots in my yard that were duking it out last year and the zoysia would just not give up even with a high nitrogen applications and trying to push the Bermuda to take over. There’s basically no Bermuda in the zoysia areas, so I was thinking of just possibly glyphosating it and then plugging the Bermuda in?

Its not the popular answer but 2 years ago I used spectracide grass/weed killer and just killed off the poa/zoysia/bluegrass, scalped it and layed down prodiamine pre-emergent in march. By late may those spots filled in with a healthy feeding of PGF complete and yard masterys soil mastery. I dropped another dose of prodiamine in june and september and last year when spring came i had little to no weeds. Its a painful process but that bermuda will patch itself quick

I live in Texas and each spring poa annua blows through my pre emergent. I use prodiamine in the fall 2 applications ( September and December) and 2 in the spring ( February and May). What can I use to knock this stuff out so I don’t have it. Bermuda lawn.

Pre emergent called Specticle flo and post emergent tribute total & certainty will work too

I agree Specticle flo pre emergent in the fall. It is also pricey but worth every penny. Split it with another lawn care crazy
