Adding 1oz liquid iron per gal for spot spraying will help keep from yellowing the warm season Turf during the summer it worked for me good luck 😁👍

As far as post emergent Goosegrass… I used Image (sulfetrazone + quinclorac) in two applications. It works like a charm. I had huge patches and it took care of them.

Jason - thanks for all of your videos, really enjoy watching and learning. I have used Sedge Ender on nutsedges and kylinga with fairly good success, although it's a regular battle. Product label says it works in 3 days and also covers 200 other weeds.

I must admit that I scored 2.5 gallons of M**A from ebay. Is one ounce a gallon safe with bermudagrass and zoysia. I hear the hotter the best. Any advice besides a lecture on rules. When it's gone, it's gone. Without it, how to I kill goosegrass?

I use Celsius and MSM Turf, pretty much kills everything in my St Augustine except sedge. I use Blindside and MSM for sedge which seems to come up about every third year. Edit: I use the .085 to two gallons for Celsius based on actually spraying water on 1000 square feet and adjusting my sprayer.

Hey Jason. That is a great combo. Sometimes I will add a fairly low dose of MSM turf, which seems to have a greater effect on the more stubborn weeds. Many times I will add the quinclorac after the torpedo grass starts invading again. Be grateful you don't have to deal with that. It'll make you lose your damn mind.

Dam torpedo grass is creeping into my backyard from the back easement. I’ve sprayed it with Glysophate, kills what’s on the surface but I don’t think it kills the roots. Any tips to control besides maybe installing a 10” barrier into the soil?

@@joehernandez550 you could learn to live with it, move, or plant zoysia. Zoysia can get so thick it would probably be your best bet at choking it out. That is just my opinion. I do know that I will not learn to live with it, and I will not move.

Tribute total and Certainty is better but also much more expensive. The Celsius and Certainty is still a great combo though! The spikey ball sedge is called Globe Sedge

Hey Jason I have found that for the particular test here a better combination that I use and keep on my truck a lot is Sedge Hammer combined with Solitaire as for the Dallisgrass and Virginia buttonweed I usually keep a 1-gallon sprayer with vinegar mixed with a surfactant and water being extremely careful only to mist the weed with the vinegar mixture if any damage does occur it can usually be fixed with a handful of Milorganite thrown on the spot in the lawn I would love to see you post a video of the same test using the Solitaire and Sedge Hammer mixture I think you might be very surprised at the results

I painted Virginia buttonweed with hot Roundup on my hands and knees yesterday. These folks go to church with us and have brought Alisha and me food many times during her cancer. I am afraid I wasted my time after watching this video. Their yard was in rough shape when I got it during the September pre-emergent treatment. Now, it's the only weed. They have bermuda turf. I'm afraid I will be throwing seeds next week. I have some Revolver and M***. Will that work? The Rookie

Revolver and MSMA Plus 6 work really well on Goosegrass, usually 1 treatment kills it.

I love these weed videos. Very helpful! I have quite a bit of Dallisgrass in my bermuda lawn. Would you say that healthy bermuda has a better chance to choke out weakened Dallisgrass? From my experience, it's the most difficult to control and eradicate. I'm wondering/hoping that the bermuda gets the upper hand against a weakened weed. Am I way off?

Jason, yesterday I mixed up some hot Roundup, sprayed it a jar, and painted Virginia buttonweed on my hands and knees. You said Roundup won't kill it. What do I do? This customer is in my church family and has brought Alisha and me food numerous times during her cancer. I just want to give them a great lawn and it's the only weed they still have.

Msma will kill it in few days 1 oz per gallon It’s a restricted chemical you can still buy without a license but as long as you don’t do it for a living it should be fine

I have both hybrid and common burmuta and I have a terrible crabgrass and clover problems, in the spring i have poa. I will use a pre-emergent this fall and next spring to lesson some of my issues but I need a cost effective post emergent and I was really looking at the drive. I know Celcius is slow acting, and the product says give it 2 to 4 weeks to work, so what you see half alive after 1 week is probably going to be dead after 4 weeks. It's a great product but $$$. :)
