The first and last popcorn makers are nostalgic to me. The first air popper also has a butter melt spot on top. I remember many movie nights where I would take a paper bag and use it as a catch for those style of poppers. The last one shown looked like it could be turned upside down once it was finished and then just use the top as a bowl.

3 things on the last popcorn popper. 1. You are supposed to leave the lid off so steam can escape and melt the butter. This makes it so that the bowl doesn't get as hot as it was. Put the lid on only when the popcorn is done popping so nothing spills out the bottom when flipped. 2. The hot plate and the bowl can be flipped over together allowing you to get the popcorn into the bowl without spilling any. 3. Use oil dammit! Coconut oil preferably.

The best popcorn maker I found is a Salbree branded silicone one that you microwave. Saves space and $ compared to the pre -packaged stuff. For flavor, you want to go with coconut oil & Flavacol, which is a butter-flavored seasoning salt. It is the same stuff they use for movie theater popcorn. 1/4 cup corn kernels, yellow is fine. 1 Tablespoon Coconut oil, melted is best. 1/8 Teaspoon Butter salt. Microwave kernels in the popper, then mix in melted coconut oil and butter salt. Serves 1.

The first popper is meant to be used with a bowl. The Chinese popper: 1) You are supposed to grease the contact points on the popper where they meet the stand. 2) You used the wrong kind of fuel, if I remember correctly it's supposed to be oil based & they use some weird Chinese stuff. 3) You let it pressurize too much those usually go to about four four and a half. 4) many parts of Asia where those are common do not have electricity. The last popper, the lid is the bowl, you are supposed to flip it upside down.

With the Air Popper it helps to tilt it back while it's on. That keeps the unpopped kernels from jumping out until they are popped. Then of course let it pop into a BOWL..

Air poppers are easy to use! Generally I preheat the machine in order to assure that you aren't getting a lot of uncooked kernels. You use a BOWL! You can also butter as you go as some come with the butter melter on top. Though I have never used one like that last one, my guess was the top was the bowl, you just needed to flip it!

"I'm going to read the directions." Proceeds to put the lid on that they specifically tell you not to put on and doesn't put any oil in the popper. The lid being on traps in the steam and ruins the popcorn. It's also why everything was so hot, it was heating things up way too much and the steam was having to escape across the handles of the bowl. Read the directs first!!! The last one - the popcorn bowl is the lid. You flip it over. The cap on top stays off to let the steam out. It goes back on before you flip it so oil doesn't mess up the table.

The mystery item is a Antique Copper Finish Vase so table decoration for flowers or anything u put in a vase also add some butter or oil to the Chinese popcorn maker to get it to work properly and dont be scared fill it up and crank down on the top bolt for proper use
