I've discovered Latin Music, and just love it. I'd like to get a set of wireless headphones that would bring out clear and separated trumpet sounds, clave and 'bongo' crisp rythnm sounds, and choir vocals. What would you recommend ? I'm thinking Sennheiser, or Maxwells ....

Simple Choice and 4 reasons why. 1) MDAQS The Multi-Dimensional Audio Quality Score results indicates BOSE Quiet Comfort Ultra and Momentum 4 are much better than the SONY WH-1000XM5. 2) Sony XM5 release date May 2022 MSRP $399.99 and Bose QC Ultra release date October 2023 MSRP $429. aka release date (age) and original pricing. 3) 2024 Holiday sale XM5 $299 and QC Ultra $329 both dropping $100. affordability as Sony XM5 should be discounted more because it is a year older than Bose QC Ultra. 4) On the other hand, the best audio/sounding BT headphones are the Sennheiser Momentum 4 release date August 2022 MSRP $349 and now on sale for $229 as $120 less. The Momentum 4 MDAQS rating is about equal to the Bose QC Ultra. Another thing: Momentum 4 just sounds better than Bose or Sony probably because of the 42mm dynamic drivers. The best affordable Bluetooth headphone which cost less of the 3 is Momentum 4. The quality is better than the Sony XM5 and just a small notch below the Bose QC Ultra. I own 2 sets of Momentum 4 headphones. Purchased Bose QC Ultra during this holiday period for trial/comparison for the last 3 weeks. Will be returning the QC Ultra because paying $100 more to get slightly better ANC and immersion/larger stage presence which don't really occur just not worth the money. Yes! ears get warmer with M4 but it compensates for individuals who wear eye glasses as in for comfort. Had gone to the Sony website and purchased the XM5. I really was tempted to evaluate the XM5 and compare them to the M4 and QC Ultra. A few hours later, it dawned on me I made a mistake, therefore I cancelled my order. After numerous review, KZbin videos, reading comment, going to Reddit, forums, Amazon, Best Buy, and other sites that have reviewed the XM5. I knew the XM5 have fallen behind and quietly bowed down to Bose QC Ultra and Sennheiser M4 for being better. You listen to different genre of music for pleasure as quality of audio makes it nice to listen to. As for BT headphones in this mid-level competition, the M4 has not been beaten or won over yet regarding sound. MDAQS: Scale of 1 to 5. 1 is Poor and 5 is Best. Anything above 4 is very good. for example: It's like college GPA as Provost list 3.9 - 4.2, Deans List 4.3 - 4.7 and President's List 4.8 - 5.0 Sony XM5: Timbre 4.3, Distortion 3.6, Immersiveness 4.1, Overall 4.2 Provost Momentum 4: Timbre 4.8, Distortion 3.5, Immersiveness 4.1, Overall 4.6 Deans Bose QC Ultra: Timbre 4.8, Distortion 3.2, Immersiveness 4.2, Overall 4.6 Deans Momentum 4 do not have LDAC codec, neither does the BOSE QC Ultra. However, Sony has LDAC but no aptX Adaptive or aptX Low Latency and no Snapdragon. The Bose QC (non-Ultra) are bit more comfortable than the newer QC Ultra, plus the QC (non-Ultra) have nice physical button controls. Only the Ultra has the Snapdragon codec which is an improvement over the QC non-Ultra. Sennheiser M4 do have Snapdragon 888 capability which makes pairing with Android phones made since 2021 more compatible and better to connect to. Last, none of the above mentioned have ipx4 Waterproof certification. Please keep your headphones dry, remove any condensation, moisture, water, and Sweat. Best to wear indoors and Low Humidity. Not for wear for any physical exercise as get Ear Buds instead.

you need to start talking about Latency in your videos. its the second most important thing after sound quality and you never even glimps at it... exellent best headphones can be a 2/10 for other because of latency. and 3/4 of your list have high latency

Hey! Which one should I buy: the new AirPods Max (Type C), Bose QuietComfort Ultra, or Sony XM5 headphones? I’m not concerned about the price; I just want something with outstanding sound quality and excellent active noise cancellation (ANC). I listen to a lot of hip-hop, R&B, rock, jazz, and other genres, so audio performance is key. I also want a pair that’s comfortable for extended wear-whether I’m traveling, relaxing, or using them frequently over the years. Since I use Apple devices (iPhone and iPad), compatibility would be a bonus. What would you recommend?

If price is not a concern, I’d recommend the AirPods. I don’t recommend buying the Bose QC Ultras since I had them for a month and had to return them. They’re buggy and lack features. Personally, I don’t think the AirPods Max are worth the price but if you got the spare money you might as well get them.

Hi! I tested this headphone and I can confirm that the sound is better than, for example, WH-1000XM4, but Sony's has a wider soundstage. I returned them because the ANC is worse than Sony's and my unit had a connectivity issue that cuts the sound sometimes when on bluetooth.
