I think the reason Wren's worked so well is because another car drove behind the van like 2 seconds afterward making it feel like more genuine traffic. Looking over your right shoulder as the van passes just behind you moving left. Or not looking at all. I think this video just elevated the whole series. Just think about how many practical shots you could do in front of people to confuse the hell out of them. This could become a much bigger project IMO. I’d love to see the shot from The Matrix at the end where Neo flies away. Use that bridge with some rigging from a distance and have him bend down and then put some exploding dust bags on his shoes and have the dust shoot out and away right after the rig starts hurling him up and over the top of the bridge. Tip: do it on an overcast day if possible and paint the rigging light gray and put it on a swing arm to quickly get it out of the way. Or have them come walking up underneath the other side of the bridge and have it hanging way off the side and then quickly hoist him up and then swing it out of the way so when they run over they don’t see any rigging.

Man, I love these videos. I think one of the things that has made them work best is when they're focused on movies that are attempting "realistic" takes on their genres. The Nolan Batman movies are great examples of that, and so is the Bourne trilogy. Just a few brainstorms off the top of my head for future ideas: I wonder if there's a similar type of thing that happens in the more "realistic" relaunch of the Bond movies with Daniel Craig or the more recent Mission Impossible movies. Could you get the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade's trick of the "step of faith" to actually work for more than a second in making someone think there was nothing there? Less in the vein of "would that thing depicted in the movie work in real life," and more in the vein of "can you trick somebody in-person with these movie tricks," could you pull off a real-life version of a Texas Switch from, say, Baby Driver, Naked Gun, or Hot Fuzz? Or maybe do a magic carpet stunt where the people watching can't see the carpet? Maybe this series could even include you guys testing other film techniques that have been used very infrequently, like the low-frequency sound that Irréversible uses to make the audience nauseous and uneasy. Or trying to make some functional version of "Smell-O-Vision" to see if it actually adds anything to an experience of a movie. You could even invent and test Feel-O-Vision and Taste-O-Vision!
