I understand KZbinrs need to make a living wage, and I'll continue watching and being subscribed, but please do research with sponsors. Temu is not great... Their parent company is known for installing malware on people's phones to steal sensitive information. Temu itself has been accused of stealing private info, and also draining people's bank accounts slowly. not to mention, a lot of their products are cheap knockoffs that are dropshipped from Chinese companies. It's nothing against you, but yeah, Temu stinks, like really badly. Love your art and content tho :)

Hullo Anthony, I am glad you got so many good items from TEMU. I have had a less positive experience, but I imagine it is because I was hoping for better than I had a right to expect for such low prices! You MUST READ the descriptions very carefully and be aware of size differences. I found their prices on 100% cotton watercolor papers very good on the Baohong blocks! BE sure you READ the size of your purchase, I got a couple of much smaller than I desired because I did not pay attention to every little point. I look forward ot your upcoming videos and I am glad your turning things around. Be well and stay safe!

Love the new studio ❤ I have the Brutfunur pencils - all 520 of them plus 72 metallics. I bought them for the kids so they would leave my “good” pencils alone. These pencils work just as well as my Derwents and Prismacolours! Who would have ever thought!

you should do a cheap vs expensive video with the 520 colored pencils against Windsor and Newton or any of the other really popular brands. These look absolutely insane, and I really want to try them out!

It's like comparing apples from Whole Food stores with apples from the Fiesta Supermarket. It's not fair. But, if you compare Brutfuner with Kalour, per example, that would be a very good comparison, bc Kalour is a little more expensive, and it's much better too. The only downside of Chinese pencils is that they are not lightfast, even though they say it is.

The only art supply I got from Temu was this set of 12 glittery watercolors and I was so surprised because they are actually good. Not chalky and the glitter is very fine like you can't distinguish any flakes.

Thanks for the video. My family bought brutfunor colored pencils, along with pastels, oil paint crayons, gel pens, watercolor paint, alcohol markers, mixed media paper and watercolor paper. All were amazing and comparable to student grade supplies. We were very surprised!

I studied Temu, there's good and there's bad. What I like from them is the customer service, free delivery to Europe in 11 days and you can find some real treasures if are willing to spend some time being picky. I have my eyes on those dowers for a while, I just ordered the Meeden desk easel with one drawer. That box of Brutfuner is the school one, the 520 box for artists is nicer and the pencils are better quality. The best Chinese pencil imo is the Kalour. You can't go wrong with any of their products. Funny video, I liked.

The acrylic paint brush pens from China - the ones in in the dark box are amazing!! They are vibrant, colours are gorgeous and opaque, they have expert ability to very strongly hide dark colours underneath if you use lighter colours on top. And they blend if you are quick with your finger, they dry super quick.

Fun-fact. The big thingy with the pencils, paints, crayons and markers... where the markers NEVER WORKED. You're supposed to add water to it. take off the back cap and add a little bit of water. then it works you're welcome

I've bought from Temu twice and never had a problem. But it's a gamble depending on what you get it will either work or not. I've gotten products that are crap and didn't even work (a kitchen scale was one of them) but they refund you in store credit and don't ask you to return anything. It also can take about 2 weeks+ to receive your package so keep all of that in mind if you ever decide to buy from them.

Heads up. When shopping temu, buy local. You will receive from Walmart, target, small shops... Trust me, much better. Next bruts are great color pencils. For the same price you can get castle arts and for a little more you can get the professional castle arts. Bruts are good though, they are a bit firmer than I expected.

I think this might be the first time I've seen one of your videos and I was really interested to see what you made of the Temu art supplies. I've bought some myself (I'd already got them before today) but not got round to trying them yet. I got the metallic watercolour box (interested to see what you make of this one especially), a smaller case of artists markers (a case of 48 Hangfan ones) - they came with a white jelly pen and a finer tipped black pen - VERY strong smell to that black pen, plus some glitter pens, coloured pencils and a few other bits. The coloured pencils you used in this video looked like they were really good quality, so if I can make the space, I might look at getting some myself. I'm going to have a look at the video with the metallic watercolours in next. I had almost bought some from an ad on Facebook that I kept seeing, but I was glad I saw these on Temu before I did, even though the pans are weeny, but there's more colours in it and if they're used just for accenting and small details they should last OK. I subbed too - I want to see more! 😁👍

I have the 262 marker set and they are amazing as I can't afford the ohuh set just yet but one I will lol there are a must for beginners like me who has really just started out at the age of 51 (never to old to start) in colouring with markers I wanted to test things out before splashing out on the more expensive markers. I got a much smaller set of the Brutfuner pencils off of amazon a few years ago and they are some of my absolute favourite pencils to use! They’re so good 😊 I didn’t realise that temu has them too. Hope you’re settling into your new place, I know from personal experience that my autism can make that adjustment period feel excruciatingly overwhelming (I’ve literally only ever had one place feel automatically like home, and I love it so much I’m staying here forever 😂)

@@ADCArtAttack I know it’s a lot easier to say than to do, but make sure to carve out some time for selfcare, whether that’s doomscrolling, gaming, or just staring mindlessly at pretty things (I’m a visual stimmer, pretty things are my happy place 😂) and try to maintain some of your routines and rituals from your last place if you can. It doesn’t completely cure the overwhelm, but it does help to manage it somewhat while everything new becomes familiar 💖

While I do believe the quality of the products is good, it is notoriously known that Temu steals credit cards information and that their app is using intrusive permissions to collect personal information and even passwords. While it is every person's choice whether or not the cheap prices worth the risk, it is bumming me out to see influencers marketing them as a legit site/app. I know that the struggle to get sponsors is real, but this is one sponsors that I, personally, cannot support. Quality items with such a low price rank? It usually means the profit is being made in other ways... Sorry ADC, but I think this is one sponsor that should have been rejected.

I have a challenge for you. I couldn't find a video of you doing this on your channel, so I don't think you've done it before. I would like you to try airbrushing. I think that's a good (potentially new) medium that we all/I would really like to see you try. I'm sure you're aware of the Copic airbrush system, if you don't want to get a whole new tool (if you don't already have an airbrush). The new setup looks great thought and good luck with the rest of the move and setting up your new place.

@ADCArtAttack Glad too see your happy again brother God bless you, may I make a suggestion, The Brutfuner 120 SQUARE Pencil set, with Chinese names are the best Brutfuner pencil by far, I've tried all the round ones, I can't explain fully but the Square set well there like a hybrid pencil soft creamyness of a Prisma but a loverly feel of a Polychromos layering, obviously Faber Castel Ploy are by fare the uniquer Pencil but I can garuntee The Brutfuner Square 120 set is not far off the mark, 😉 P. S Cheap price £12-15

huge problem w alchohol markers is they are not for archival use.. meaning they fade fast ... what i do to make them last longer is clear coat over them but ya alchohol use dyes not inks so lots of fading

I did all 520 on a double colouring page. I had to do one box at a time, and one tray at a time. I did all a blue tray and layered them, moved to next tray and did a different area. No colour got used much and none need sharpening (except the single pencil that came with a broken led). They are actually really good pencils. They are so thin though, they would break easily if you had them in a school bag, but with a giant box like that, I don't really think they are intended to be moved around anyway. The acrylic markers look really nice. The whites are always crap. Even the white poscas are terrible.
