It's because several of the canidates support various degrees of fascism, racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, antisemitism, anti-Asian hate, xenophobia, and are actively fighting for America to be a Christo-fascist state. Ignoring their beliefs to focus on what they eat and to say positive things about very horrible people is just distasteful.

I like this video and found it very interesting! I didn’t know how unhealthy Donald Trump ate that's disappointing but I like that he doesn't drink alcohol I was suprised how healthy Kamala Harris eats that's awesome! I would probably more likely eat what Kamala Harris made over Donald Trump because of how much healthier it is but I definitely liked what you said at the end about choosing according to what you believe that's a good perspective.

I'm not American but I find these types of videos interesting. It is also surprising to see a lot of people insult Trump for his choice of diet in the comments. The same group of people are all for promoting obesity in the name of "body positivity". I actually don't believe a lot of information about those people on media are true. I don't even believe what they say about themselves, since they are public figures and are trying to build an image. Kamala probably tries to look like a perfect woman of color and Trump is trying to look like an average American. It's all pretending.

It always seems to me that most of these politicians name these dishes either to appeal to the public or to look like 'a person that takes care of themselves and is probabaly going to take good care of the country '. Oy gevalt, I think my cholesterol went up a few points simply hearing about Trump’s diet. As for the others, I’m surprised to find out Hillary Clinton is a spicy food fan, I would totally try Kamala’s tuna sandwich and roast chicken, and as weird as RFK Jr is, I can get behind the sustainability thing. I've seen a lot of discourse about this and while I agree as a woman that there are microaggressions against women we don't notice, I don't think this is the case and people are digging a bit here. Bernie Sanders and Beto O'Rourke are almost always referred to by their first names as well. Meanwhile Elizabeth Warren is almost never referred to as Elizabeth. I happen to think it's just whatever part of their name is more prominent.
