Hey Barry. Two things. 1. 10:24 is my new wallpaper 2. Some fruits with stones (the pit/seed) have 2 types. Type one, the stone/pit separates easily. Type two, the stone doesn't separate easily and the fruit needs to be processed. This is the issue with most peaches. Type 2 is mostly used for canned peaches, puree and juice, while type 1 is the fruit that you buy fresh. You may also try the gadget with apricots that have pits that are mostly already separated in the fruit.

If you release that vege chopper thing. I've mentioned on fb and twitter but. make sure the model is the type that presses down straight, or has angled blades. Most break because the lever action pushes the food from the upper side not directly down. so the forces don't align and lots of stress occurs. So either having one that pushes straight down, or uses something like a Paninin press's directional press would work best.
