Yeah it was bothering me too. The point is to get the excess off before putting it into your pot or bowl so you have an accurate measurement. If you level it over the bowl and then dump into the same bowl you might as well not have leveled it at all

With the herb cutter, if you haven't already tried it (haven't finished the video yet), then try cranking the handle the opposite direction. The ones I've tried are able to "grab" the herbs and pull them down into the shredder part, but only when turned in one direction.

Hey Barry, here's a tip for opening steam-related things to help prevent burns: when you're about to lift the lid and are expecting a bunch of steam (or you're not sure if there'll be steam), blow briskly at your hand/finger as you're opening and it should be enough to blow away the hot steam. Results may vary but overall it's been pretty positive personally. Edit: No, I am not typing this from the burns unit of my local hospital!

With the herb thing, I think instead of folding and stuffing the herbs in, you should stick them in straight down, so the stalks feed into the teeth. That way as you turn the handle, it feeds in the herbs, should mean you dont have to keep pressing it down?

Make cinnamon-sugar in a small tupperware (or similar) container. Then you can just add both sugar and cinnamon, add the lid and shake to your hearts content. Then it's properly mixed and ready for storage.

My husband has dyspraxia and can't chop things, so I got him the clever cutters (as seen on a previous Barry video) and my gran gave me the Nicer Dicer which I gave to hubs. Now he can dice veggies and help me make soup and ive never seen someone so happy chopping courgettes :D your videos have really helped give me ideas of what next to get him, because he always thought he couldn't do certain things. The handheld chopper is good for if you can't seem to slice things evenly or precisely. Most people can roughly chop a zucchini into shape to fit inside the thing, but not as many can then proceed to slice it from there as neatly.
