Itchy, your property is a Norman Rockwell painting; would be the dream of many. A lot of sweat equity you have into it, keeps you upright and on your feet to chores needing to be done. Thank God I’m a country boy too. Grew up in the same environment and nothing like it.

Yep, I get it....We don't live in the country, we live in the mountains back in the forest. My driveway is asphalt and longer than a football field. Several times while we were sitting on the back porch enjoying the forest sipping on wine some lost hiker ended up in my backyard. They think my driveway is a city street and it dead ends in my backyard. It's funny to see them looking around lost in my yard. We have a rule, if you are in my back yard and lost, you have to come up to the back porch, have a seat and a glass of wine or water and introduce yourself (usually it's husband and wife lost hiking) and have a visit. We have made several new friends over the years doing that. Some were so lost I gave them a ride home in my truck....

Mark, the first house that I bought was in a small town in south Louisiana on a 200' X 60' lot. It was a shotgun 1 story bult in 1910 made out of cypress. I was across the street from City Hall, The P.D. and F.D. and the regional ambulance company had an ambulance at the F.D. 24/7. The only wildlife I had ever seen, besides birds, was squirrels and plenty of them. You could hear them running across the metal roof most of the day and into the evening most of the year. Then we moved to Mississippi a little over 34 miles north of Gulfport. The house was built in 1974 it was 2 story with 4 bedrooms,3 baths and the front porch ran the width of the house at 40' X 8' on a little under 1 acre of the land. There were trees and high bushes all along the property line except for the driveway which was about 70 feet long to the left of the house when facing from the porch. So, one of my favorite things to do was drink my morning coffee while sitting on the porch and if I didn't turn my head to the left and look towards the driveway, because of the trees and bushes, I felt like I was in the country with numerous squirrels, birds, raccoons and dear going through the front yard. That was some of my happiest moments. Prayers and Abundant Blessings to you and yours. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✝🛐❤

With a place like yours Itchy who would want to move to town. We have 5 acres but it don't look quite your place. I would hate to move to town. Well Itchy we went on that 250 mile ride yesterday. Drove through a state park, it was really pretty up there. On the way back we stopped at a bar about 15 miles from home. When we left there it was getting dark, the other guys wanted to make another stop but I headed home. I didn't get very far when I was rounding a corner and a doe shot out right in front of me. I braked pretty hard but it wasn't our night to meet. Thankfully I was lucky THIS time. I don't know Itchy I maybe should have stayed with the group and been the tail gunner. I don't want anybody to hit a deer but I already had my turns. I am not liking the shorter days.

Did you delete my comment of my brother being president of the Fort Scott Kansas Steam Engine Club from your last video? I wasn't trying to do SPAM. I just thought it went good with your video. Cause he really is the head of a the Steam engine club. I've been a subscriber of your channel for at least 4 years now and I would never do SPAM. He runs the Steam engine for the club. He also is one of the only inspectors in Kansas for Steam engines. And about the country life: I myself live in the middle of nowhere Missouri. Nearest town is 20 minutes away. I love living in the country, I wouldn't like living in the city at all. My wife passed away May 11th 2023 so now I live with my 90 year old mother in the country. Well Mark have a good day and like I said I would never try and do SPAM.
