( Batter / 1 egg, 3 Tbsp flour, 1 Tbsp milk )
【 Pink sauce for shredded cabbage and cutlet 】
1 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp ketchup
1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch of salt
2 pinches of sugar
【 Eggplant eddo tofu leek miso soup 】　
Some sesame oil & ground seeds
A little grated ginger
3 servings water
2 Tbsp miso paste
About 1.5 tsp bonito dashi powder

The ham you bought is called a picnic ham. It’s boneless and often served cold ( hence picnic,) a full ham is 2-3 times larger, has a bone, and is usually served warm, though leftovers are eaten cold. A full ham lasts much longer, as in, stays good longer, than a picnic ham. The bone from a full ham makes great soup stock. It was lovely to see your face. I like your new format.

Mhm, it was interesting seeing another perspective on this because I definitely had plenty picnic hams and full hams (for Christmas) growing up. Never been as fond of the former but I adored the split pea soup that we'd make with the leftover full ham and bone every year. I would never think to fry ham since it's already so fatty, but then again it's not like I haven't seen weirder deep fried foods at festivals and the like.

it is cultural difference. we have the ham here and you just boil it for 40 minutes in water ( you shouldn't even fry it because it is smoked beforehand) and then you eat it with sour cabbage and mashed potato

For the breadcrumbs all you needed today was tear them up, put them in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to flatten them or if you’ve got a steak hammer to flatten them that way and make them flaky or if you’ve got a food processor you can put them in there and process them so then they’ve become flakes and you can store them. Also to echo others here you look absolutely amazing and I’m glad you’re comfortable enough to show us your face on camera. We're also in Canada and we eat Ham cooked whole roasted in the oven, sliced and served with a honey mustard glaze alongside mashed potatoes and root vegetables like carrots & turnips! Also sliced as "steaks", pan fried in butter and served with roasted potatoes & salad. Kumquats (orange fruit) are delicious and we enjoy them cut in half and arranged in a tart shell on top of a custard, baked to give them a bit of a roasty sticky sweetness.

Just some feedback I hope helps. For the panko, you need to oven roast and dry out the bread bits and then they will flake apart better and also stick to the meat better :) and the fruit is called Kumquats!

Hello Imamu. You surprised us with a face reveal! For Mr Imamu, I’m Canadian, we roast our ham with pineapple rings and a honey mustard glaze. We eat it with mashed potatoes, a cooked vegetable and a white or cheese sauce. With leftovers we grind it up in a food processor so it’s shredded, add celery and onion with mayo and have it in a sandwich. We also eat leftovers with eggs for breakfast. Your daughter’s laugh is adorable.

We do a leg of ham for Christmas, as tradition, here in New Zealand too! That's awesome! Mainly with cloves and a sweet dressing like brown sugar mixed with a liquid (alcohol or non-alcoholic). Feeds us for a week! Non-stop ham sandwiches!

American here! Usually my family eats ham on holidays like thanksgiving, and Christmas. We also use it for breakfast sometimes by cutting it into small pieces and mixing with eggs.
