My dad was my chaperone when I got to meet up with my (current) husband, we had a group chat with my parents and him on it to communicate where we would be meeting and they would leave us to it and come and join us after and then after my husband would discuss with my dad further details and next steps. We were in the same circles in our local mosque so we kind of knew each other before. After a month of meeting twice a week he brought his parents down. I feel it can be so uncomplicated with a third person there to avoid people wasting time etc. This way of looking for marriage is great for Muslims to avoid the men who are not serious. Having this service where a chaperone is present is great 🌺

Even my 4th cousin's visit us 8-10 time's a year and our first cousin's only meet us on occasions. So maybe it's not her first cousin. But if it is that'd be awkward as hell.
