I had to go back and look because I thought I did purchase the plugs through Ebay. Looks like they are the good ol knock offs 😅😂 A/C Delcos?? more like FAKE/C Hell-no's. If a deal seems to good to be true, it usually is! The one that the tip was missing on dont even show a history of a mis fire with the scanner. This thing just wants to run.

my 5.3 eats them too. I had the same thing happen a few months back. truck has the AFM/DOD crap and the alcohol fuel % always shoots way up and idk if that leans out the mix or what

I bought a set of AC Delco plugs on Amazon. A mile down the road they started misfiring worse than the old plugs. I pulled them out after 2 miles and one was missing the porcelain tip like yours and all the others had black carbon tracing marks on the outside of the porcelain insulators under the plug boots. I found an article online how to identify the counterfeit plugs. Its obvious after reading about it and seeing pics, but its so subtle you'd never know otherwise. Tons of counterfeit name brand stuff on Amazon and Ebay.

Back in the 60's, farmers used Champion plugs. In the 70's we used Autolite In the 80's, we used Delco In the 90's, we didn;t know what to use anymore, because all of them seemed to be trash. By 2000's, we realized you had to buy Japanese NGK to get consistent quality across the whole product line. Maybe not the BEST quality, but at least you knew what you were going to get. Today, I tried a set of Champions in my old Mighty Mo. They lasted ONE WINTER. People say Autolite got better, but I just can;t make myself buy them. I am going to order a set of NGK. Japanese plugs in my 1967 American tractor. better then chinesium I guess.

Good Lord! This video couldn't be more timely! Yesterday, I pulled a trailer with my Chevy van 4.8.V8 over from Southeast to Southwest Florida. (2 generators 100 gal of fuel, drinking waters untold amounts of food, cooler & ice etc) What a day but that van WAS NOT HAPPY! Pinging so much I was getting used to the sound! And eating fuel!!! I can't wait to change these plugs now. 😊

Did you buy those AC Delcos on eBay by chance? I bought a set from there for my wife's '06 Silverado 5.3 a couple years ago and had a simular outcome after only a few thousand miles, electrodes burned off every one, several with he porcelain coming apart and carbon tracing and cracks down the sides on nearly all. I ended up going to the parts store and bought the cheapest regular old copper core plugs they had to test it, and it ran like a whole new truck, those plugs actually ended up staying in it until we sold it 😅, and never gave us any problems, apparently eBay is horrible for counterfeits, I should have suspected something only giving $20 shipped for a set of 8 double platinum AC Delco plugs.

Excellent video Puddin :) also in 60.000 miles or 5 years best change Spark plugs with Platinum and wires set of how many cylinders motor has ! Plus 6 or 7 year do Coils and Time Chain or Belt on motor has to also want those motor last longer except be too! Also every month put Grey Bottle of STP Total Treatment fuel injection and carb cleaner in fuel tank too!

Well heck Puddin lays down the power washing video even when it's not his set up. Yeah there's a particularly warm corner of the bad place for the knobs that goop up wash wands or put the gas nozzle back in the locked on position.

Had a friend that had a new Chevy truck , he had ran regular unleaded gas , this was a few years ago , and he stopped and filled up and he mistakenly put unleaded ethanol in . He didn't make it 65miles and it quit. When they got into repairs they found it had cleaned out the fuel tank , carb , lines, everything and ran it through the engine , burnt the plugs right down to the threads , totalled the engine too ! I don't run that corn crap in anything!!!!!!

I work for a trailer company in the shop, if you keep blowing fuses the wiring that goes through the axles may be shorted, they shove an extra 2 ft of wire in the tube and it rubs and starts to short, we remove it and run wiring along the outside of the axle, I've seen it on trailers that are only 2 months old.
