It was actually Ray Chase! At least that's what I heard/read when it came out. Ray Chase is a professional VA with a heck of a filmography and he did the official voice of the MoM. After he did the prologue & back cover, he worked on the dub for Unionχ just for the fans. 🥰

Will update this as we go along. First thing I will say is we still to this day don’t know who the Master of Masters is. Top theories I have seen are that he’s Sora, Demyx, or a new character entirely. So the animal masks as well as the names of the Masters apprentices are actually references to the Seven Deadly Sins. Kingdom Hearts had religious allegories sprinkled throughout but they leaned into the Abrahamic stuff in Union Cross. Not all of them are exact, Gula (gluttony) should be a pig mask but it works. In case you’re curious Luxu (lust) has a goat as his animal from his keyblade. We don’t know the Master’s sin or animal but it should be pride and lions by process of elimination. I also should point out Vulpes is the fox union. There is no wolf one. I definitely am team Vulpes though. Overall the unions don’t have any impact on the story and the main characters are always in a different union from you. Moogles were always able to talk... The book creating worlds from the future is likely for convenience sake. Would take a long time running back and forth across worlds that can take months if not years to get to. The color difference is that it was a darker gray. That’s literally it. I really like how the movie doesn’t just make the characters distrust each other but also made the viewer distrust them. It’s so good at that. I don’t know if they’re going with a cycle but I honestly am not surprised. Kingdom Hearts borrows a lot from Final Fantasy and breaking endless cycles is very much a Final Fantasy staple. The character customization can be really amazing to really silly. There’s so many outfits and hairstyles! In case you didn’t notice, the level cap is incredibly high. For example, Ava was level 120 in her *first* fight. Every keyblade in this game is upgradable with returning keyblades get new forms.

Back wen this game was still playable everyone picked Vulpes because of back cover, there was so many people that they won every week ranking by miles. I was on leopards thought, our best ranking was third, lol.

I was in Vulpes! Probably because of Back Cover but honestly I don't remember 😂 Pretty much always rank 1 every week it was crazy. I was doing fine with Lux farming but not as crazy as others. I was at least lvl 327 based on one of the few screenshots I have. Man, what a time that was playing that game.

More people, me included, mentioned that to him as well so he can at least pick for himself, but I think he'll just go with this fandub as part 1 and watch the rest after KH3. Things can be said about both ways of doing it, but it works either way. This dub ends at where the original Kingdom Hearts χ ended. I understand what you mean though.
